Social Network Marketing: How Teenagers Are Becoming Millionaires
The rise of Social Network Marketing
Social Network Marketing started out with companies such as Avon and Vector Marketing, where someone wanting to market the product and become a brand partner would ask friends and family to have a house party so that they could talk their friends into buying Avon or Vector products. I absolutely can't stand family members that do this! When I was younger, every time that Christmas would roll around there would be that one family member that has like 5 kids. Well that family member (in this case my Uncle), had a wife that was involved in Avon. So every Christmas, I got some lame toy that she found out of the Avon catalog and truth be known it probably cost her just as much as that cool Hotwheel racetrack I wanted. But enough of the Avon rant. On to my next topic.
Today's Social Network Marketing Programs
I'm starting out this hub with a couple of companies that I have been introduced to. Stay tuned for more!
Today's greatest social networking programs actually revolve around a pyramid scheme. I'm going to attempt to lay it out for you.
The pyramid system for making money off of these programs can have multi levels. For every person you recruit, you get a leg. You can have as many legs as you want, but the real key to success is when your legs have legs. Confused yet? I bet you are. What I am trying to get at is that you want to try to recruit a few people to becoming marketing partners for your business. The products that you market are different for each company. Let's say you go out and recruit X amount of people. Once you recruit X amount of people you will make it to a certain level that month. If those X amount of people decide to stay on as a partner then you will still hit the level the next month. In other words, you are making Residual Income. Now the first level you hit might be breaking even, because you have to order product every month or pay a service fee in order to stay on as a partner. Now, if each those partners that you recruited go out and recruit X amount of people, you will hit the next level and then you will actually be making money, while the X amount of people that you originally recruited are breaking even.
I've recently been introduced to the idea of Social Network Marketing and I am actually convinced that I might join if I find the right company and if I can actually save a few dollars (yes I'm broke). But it is definitely a good scheme to making money and there are people out there who are in college and making 6 figure salaries off of their Social Network Marketing business. And for those of you out there, such as myself, who are driving an old beat up car, just to let you know, most of these companies actually pay for a luxury car of your choice once you hit a certain level in the company.
Let's talk about Vemma.
The reason why I want to start out talking about Vemma is not because I think it is superior to any other Social Network Marketing program. Vemma was actually shown to me a week ago by a good friend that I went to high school with. In the Vemma compensation plan, you have a left leg and a right leg. You have to have twice as many points on one leg compared to the other if you wish to maximize the amount of money you make. Once you hit Diamond rank in Vemma they will send you a $400.00 check every month just for your vehicle expenses (not including what you already make).
The product that you market with Vemma is actually a small range of products. Their best selling product is the Verve energy drink. It is actually substantially healthier for your body than most energy drinks, as it is packed with vitamins and nutrients. Vemma also sales an orange vitamin drink that is recommended to be taken every day. One of Vemma's newest products is the protein mix, which comes in chocolate or vanilla. Protein can be used as a meal replacement and can help you burn calories and build muscle.
In order to remain as a Vemma brand partner every month, you have to buy their product every month, so every month not spent recruiting more people is a month spent wasting money (unless you actually use the product daily).

WakeUpNow is a company that markets their product through Social Network Marketing. WakeUpNow's product is actually a service that includes identity theft insurance and an advanced online tax program called Taxbot. There are 3 different levels of WakeUpNow memberships and the highest price membership is Independent Business Owner (IBO). There is a sign up fee to become an IBO for WakeUpNow of $99.95. The fee for the services every month is $99.95 a month.
It is actually simple and easy to make money through WakeUpNow. Once you recruit 3 people, you are making 100 dollars a month residually (enough to cover the service fee) and once each of those three recruit 3, you are making 600 dollars a month residually.

Just to clear this up, I am not a Social Network Marketer. I am considering it right now, but I have never done anything like this before. There are people who make a fortune doing this. I've seen the company paid Mercedes of a Vemma marketer. His age is 19. He has been doing this for 10 months now. This is not a scam just to get your money. It's only a scam if you let it be a scam and you don't go out there and get people to join.
