Stepping Above Analytics

Updated on December 27, 2014

Making The Best Website

Be it a personal blog or a business website, you surely want the most visitors possible.

Many people use Google analytics or one of many other analytic programs. These can be great for tracking many numbers that can be helpful, but there is another detail many people are overlooking.

The User Experience.

Sure, you can see the bounce rate from analytics, but why are people leaving your website or blog?

Currently, I have been in the process of working on a book for a gentleman that is in the business of studying users.

At the right are some of the websites he has been involved in helping.

Jeff Sauro is the founding principal of Measuring Usability LLC, a company providing statistics and usability consulting to Fortune 1000 companies. He is the author of over 15 journal articles and 4 books on statistics and the user-experience.

Measure Usability

Wouldn't you like your website to be as good as the websites listed?

Jeff has helped show these companies how to accurately test users, and then make website changes little by little to make the user experience the best it can be.

The key to having a well managed website is to know exactly what your website visitors are looking for, what they will do with forms and buttons, and what they will tell other people about your website.

Jeff Sauro, along with some other professionals, have studied web users and mobile users for years. They understand the user's habits.

Jeff can help you in many ways. He has developed software and tools to help you study how people react to your website.

Did you know that just by changing the "buy now" button color can make the difference in many sales?

I will link Jeff's blog/website below. He has calculators, software, and many other tools to help you make the very best website.

I recommend you read his blog articles and, even better, buy his books. I will Put links to them below.

When the book I am working on is done, I will be sure and link to it too.

Now just consider... If your website was as good as Delta's, just think of the money you could make.

I am also writing this hub in hopes that Hubpages may take some of Jeff and Measuring Usability's recommendations. Maybe Hubpages should even hire him to bring this site up.

Yes, you can travel far beyond analytics by Measuring Usability.

Be sure and watch Jeff's video below.

Some Of Jeff's Supporters

As well as my being a supporter of Jeff and his accomplishments, there are some other businesses that support him.

These companies can also show you how to have better user experiences with your website:

Optimal Workshop

Highly Recommend

Everyone of these books will help you relate to the users of your website.

If you want the best, the little money you pay for these books will come back to you in sales and advertising revenue.

Making the user happy and satisfied is the key to maintaining a great website.

This is your ticket to it.
