YouTube and its history:

YouTube is a worldwide video and audio -sharing website having its main office in San Bruno, California, United States. YouTube was created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005 sources say. It was bought by Google for US$1.65 billion in 2006. YouTube allows users to upload, view, share, and comment on videos. The content on YouTube is uploaded by individuals from any country where it is operated. The founder of YouTube are Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim, who were all employees of PayPal. Sources say that Hurley and Chen developed the idea of YouTube during the early months of 2005, after they had experienced issues uploading or sharing videos of some personal party they attended. The first video to reach one million views was a Nike advertisement featuring Ronaldinho in September 2005.

Old ways:

There was a time when viewing YouTube videos on a computer or laptop required the installation of Adobe flash player but with the evolution of technology and new software YouTube now have a built in flash player that helps and supports the videos to work without any difficulty. YouTube users can upload a video with a duration of 15 minutes but users whose worth is more and are good users are even offered 12 hours’ length videos and for this some special criteria are needed to fulfilled like making an account of YouTube. YouTube allows any format to be uploaded because most of the formats are supported by YouTube. YouTube does not allow download link for its videos, and only lets users watch it directly on their interface. The access to YouTube on smartphones is achieved through application of YouTube of optimized site by YouTube.

Usage of YouTube:

The website is available in a local version for 88 countries. Private companies and large industries have used YouTube as a source of their advertisement and increase the customer reach. Many countries have blocked YouTube for a number of reasons because of the content most of the time hurting religious sentiments of the people. It happens because of the exploitation and misuse of the medium. Misuse of the freedom of expression. YouTube users can create their own channel on YouTube on which they can upload videos which is then, viewed and if it reached a level of viewership then we can achieve some benefits from YouTube. YouTube is platform where we can have anything we desire informative music arts science and everything. It is a site worth a standing applause and more and more viewers because of its performance.
