What Are The Most Profitable Niches?

Updated on April 23, 2010

The Niche To Avoid

As an affiliate marketer, you are in the business of promoting niches, but no one wants to promote a niche that does not pay decent commissions.  You are likely looking for profitable niches, for obvious reasons.

Although there are a lot of profitable niches, plenty of them are already over saturated.  One of the worst things a newbie affiliate marketer can do is try to promote affiliate marketing or anything to do with making money online.  Yes, it is one of the most profitable niches; however, everyone and their dog is already promoting this.

It does not matter who you approach with internet marketing, they will likely look at your website or whatever your offerings are as spam.  This is because there are so many people promoting internet marketing, everyone that is not involved in internet marketing thinks you are trying to scam them.  Many of these people have already been scammed.

Once a person has been scammed, they are not likely to be interested in what you have to say.  This is the best reason to avoid internet marketing as a niche.

There's Money in The Health Niche

Health Affiliate Programs

Instead, one of the most profitable niches is with the health niche.  There are numerous health niche affiliate programs to choose from, and they are not saturated like internet marketing is.

Here are some good reasons to promote products in health related niches:

  • People want to find a solution to their health related problem immediately.  It may be an embarrassing problem, and the privacy that the internet offers means they do not have to go to their doctor and explain the problem.  They will gladly get out their credit card if you can present them with a decent solution to their problem.
  • No matter what the product, you are assured that there is a hungry market waiting for it.  You just need to know how to present it.  A lot of these health related niche sites offer templates with free webhosting that you can preload with the products you wish to promote.
  • Plenty of these health niche sites offer a very good commission.  Some of them even offer commission on Free Trial offers.  This means you can give away stuff for free and still get paid!  How hard is it, really to give away free stuff?
  • If a person orders a product, you won’t get a chargeback if they want a refund.  This is saying a lot.  Many of these commission based affiliate programs will not pay you if the product is sent back for a refund.

If you are thinking of promoting the same old internet marketing stuff, stop.  Think about the health niche instead.

Hi James....I am currently promoting products from 2 of the 3 health affiliate programs reviewed at the site mentioned above. I create SEO friendly sites with 20-40 backlinks but mainly rely on banner ad/media buy type advertising for most of my traffic. As of right now I don't do any personal coaching. I share my knowledge and experience through hubs and articles. In the future I would like to do some personal coaching but right now I don't have the free time I'd want to give to make it a top notch quality product.

I am going to take your advice because you are 500% right and its incredible advice that you have here that the big time Guru's don't tell you. What are you currently doing online. I am involved with Niche Profit Classroom. I am definitely not trying to sell you the product just interested in your journey and your results. I am going to stay completely away from make money online niche until I can do just that. Are you a internet marketing coach?
