1. MCSM: Data Platform Solutions Master

It qualifies you for network architect, information system manager, and network designer jobs.

It requires seven levels to acquire, each with different exams required;

- Administering Microsoft SQL server 2012 Databases- 462 exam

- Implementing a Data WareHouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 -463 exam

- Developing Microsoft SQL server 2012 Databases -464 exam

- Designing Database Solutions for SQL Server 2012- 465 exam

- MCSM: Data Platform Knowledge exam

- MCSM: Data Platform Lab Exam

2. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Data Platform Solutions Expert

This certification is recognized globally as the standard for IT professionals, at expert level. Earning this certification allows you to show how skilled you are in building and administration of data solutions of enterprise scale, in both premises and cloud environments as an MCSE: Data Platform Solutions Expert. It also helps you get qualified for jobs as a database analyst or designer. There are five levels to acquire this certification.

3. MCSA: SQL Server Solutions Associate

This certification is recognized globally as the standard for IT professionals, at associate level. Earning this certification allows you to show your essential skills and insights in breakthrough, in terms of development and maintenance of the upcoming wave of environments which are mission- critical as an MCSE: SQL Server Solutions Associate. It also helps you get qualified for jobs as a database developer or analyst. There are three levels to acquire this certification, with different exams required for each level as follows;

MCITP: Enterprise Administrator, Windows Server Technology

These certifications show that one has the appropriate set of skills to perform a specific IT job, for instance database administration or enterprise messaging administrator. They may not be compete effectively in the market as they are based on older versions of Microsoft technologies, thus may not be very paying, due to fast technological advancements.

Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013
