Try, Try Again....Then Stop

It's been quite a while since I was last on HubPages and there's a really good reason for it. I started with HubPages over 4 years ago as just another possible device to make some extra money. Besides HubPages, there were at least 50-100 others I spent time with, spending countless hours trying this and that. Websites, Blogs, Social Media and time and money failed to raise my Adsense Account enough to buy a roll of paper towels.

I'll give you the bad news first. It's news that everyone that has decided to try making money on the internet needs to read. There is no foolproof way to make a living doing this and anyone that tell's you there is, is lying through their teeth. Sure, if I spent thousands of dollars on a website advertising THE ABSOLUTE #1 BEST SELLING OF ALL TIME WAY TO MAKE MONEY ON THE INTERNET and then putting together a bunch of garbage that tells you nothing while I'm pocketing your hard earned $19.99, I'd be probably be living a life of pure bliss(at least until the Feds found me).

There is one way that has worked for me and that's using Google Hot Trends and blogging about the top ones. This does require you to work like a full time job but you will see results. Here's the rundown on how to do it. I'm assuming everyone that reads this hopefully has an Adsense account. If you don't, sign up before you do this.

Open a Blogger.com account as this is where you'll do your most of your work. Google Hot Trends circulates the top subjects on the net every 10 minutes or so. They used to have the top 100 but now they've reduced it to around 50. Start off with using the top 10, maybe do between 3 and 5 a day. Click on the subject and you'll get multiple blogs, articles, etc.

Here is a warning for those out there that are thinking of copying and pasting to your blog. There is this thing called Copywrite Infringement so don't think it won't happen to you. A lot of the articles are from major newspaper sources which are protected by the Federal Government. As I said before, YOU have do do work.

Once you've written your blog on Blogger, add your Adsense adds, make it look colorful and use an "eye catching" lead in. Also, since every time you do this the web address for your blog will change you may have to search for the right words before finding one that works.

When you're done with the blog go to Google and look up Pinging sites. This is where your blog will get circulated throughout the web. Also, I can't stress enough that Google likes original content so if it's not you won't get listed.

I mostly use subjects that catch my eye. There's also a graph on Hot Trends that shows if the subject is going up in trends or down. Use your head. Believe it or not, subjects on politics seem to work better than most. You can also do movie reviews and the best of all is breaking news but you've got to be there to catch it. You've got a small window on that one before everyone jumps on it.

Now I more or less just gave out all this information without asking for anything in return but that's ok. My hope is that someday someone on here or somewhere else will post the winning Powerball numbers "before" the actual drawing. That way I can go back to just surfing the net and not worry about "Making Money On The Internet."
