Working and Not Working
Working and not working
What is working and not working? are you the type of person who loves their job so much that you can do it limitlessly and it doesn't feel like work? Has anyone ever heard someone say I love my job so much that it doesn’t feel like work or like you are working at all? Well, wouldn’t it be fun it everyone had a job like that? Sure we all need to make a living but do we have to feel like we are just dragging ourselves through the motions to do it? Everyone goes to school for something right, and most of the time it is not so that they can just have a job. When you go to school for something you are passionate about it usually. When you are passionate about your job and love what you do, does it feel like work? The limitless feeling of relaxation and easy living when you work and love it so much that it doesn't feel like work, everyone wants that don't they? Working in something that you love, is a limitless amount of fun and it doesn't feel like work. But working on something that you hate can feel limitlessly boring and you will dread it every day.
I know a lot of people who work, but it is not what they saw themselves doing for the rest of their lives. That is what they would call just working, they don’t actually love what they are doing they are just doing it for the money. People have tried to get me to do, that as well. But I know that I wouldn’t get very far with that. If I am going to have a job I don’t want it to feel like a job, everyone in this day and age has to work. But you can have limitless amounts of fun with it if you want too. You can’t get by in life without doing something, to make a living. But does that mean you have to do something you hate? No, get into something that you love, so that when you go to work every day you don’t feel like you are actually working. What I mean by this is, you can work in your passion. When you do this you will feel as though you are not working a day in your life, because what you are doing as a job is something that you love to do.
So yes everyone works at one point in their lives, but do you feel like you are working or do you love your job so much that it doesn’t feel like you are working? That is what you need to ask yourself. For example, even when I am working on a story for a paper and not a blog, I don’t feel like I am working. This is something that I have always wanted to do, and if you have a passion for something you never feel as though you have to work a day in your life. Most of us work because we have too and we don’t like our jobs we just do them because it gets the bills paid. But what if you have a passion for starting your own business and in the beginning, you aren’t making too much money. Don’t give up if you are not where you want to be at a specific time in your life, you will get there with lots of dedication and hard work.
Everyone has to work at something, even if it is just babysitting for a little bit of money or cleaning someone else's house other than your own. Sure that might not be what you want to be doing for the rest of your life and it might feel like a job or it might not feel like a job. That all depends on the person and the way that they look at things. People all have different definitions of what work and not working is. For example what I do, whether it be freelance writing for a newspaper or blogging sometimes I feel as though it is a job but other times I don’t. When you have a job that you love so much that you don’t feel as though it is work at all, don’t you find that you get more work done and further with what you are trying to do?
Working and not Working
What is working and not working?
Do what you love in the form of a job
Having a job that you hate, and having a job that you love are two different things. Yes everyone needs to make money, to live, but you don’t have to hate yourself, or what you are doing to do it. Maybe, in the beginning, it might not be entirely what you want but things change. If you want to work but you don’t want to feel as though you are working, why not get into business for yourself doing something that you love. See where that leads you. That can be working and not working if that is what you want. It will take limitless work to get there though but if it is truly what you want it won't feel like work in the end.
When you have a job that you hate, it feels like you are going around in circles limitlessly with no end in sight. That is what working is called when you don't really want to work. Working when you love your job and want to do it, is the type of working that doesn't even feel like work, it's the work that you just do as a past time and that is how it feels to you. When you are doing something you love you don't dread having to do it, you look forward to doing it. That is the difference between working for what you love and working for just a job to make money.
For example, I love doing what I am doing blogging, I treat it as a job but it isn't really. it's a past time that I put a lot of time and effort into but it doesn't feel like that in the end because I make money at it. I love doing it so it doesn't feel like work it feels like something fun that I look forward to doing, that is how you should view your job. If you love your job it won't feel like work even though it is, and there are limitless things you can do with a job that doesn't feel like work, for example, put more of yourself into what you are doing,
If you can find something that you love and you can do it limitlessly without it feeling like work then great.
Find a Job you love and it won't feel like work
Working at a job that you hate, is working just to bring a pay cheque home. However, if you are working at the job that you love, it won't feel like work and you will always want to do it. If you have a job like that you will feel limitlessly happy about it all the time and that will show when you go home to your family, and when you hang out with your friends. So if you don't want your job to feel like work find something that you love to do and do it. You will never want to stop because it will always make you feel good which is what a job is supposed to be all about isn't it?
