Xomba Allows You to Get Paid for Promoting Your Own Hubs
How to Get Paid For Promoting Your Own Hubs
Many of our fellow writers at hubpages use social networking sites like digg and stumbleupon to share and promote their hubs. Do you know that you can achieve the same kind of promotion at Xomba and get paid for sharing about your own hub. Of course, you can also introduce other pages and contribute short articles as well, and still make money. You get paid by linking your Xomba account with your google adsense publisher’s account number. Just like how hubpages share with you part of the adsense revenue, they share with you 50% of the adsense income. That’s not much compared with what you’d make with your longer posts at hubpages. Nonetheless, why not get paid if this is something you’d do to promote your own writing anyway? This short posting you do to introduce a linked page (most likely your own article at hubpages or else where) is called a xomblurb. Xomblurbs are social bookmarks, or links that you want to share with the Xomba community. Xomblurbs require that you write a brief summary of what is being linked to, provide the link itself, and select what type of link you are posting. The other type of short posts that you can contribute is called xombytes which have a minimum of 100 words and should be of magazine quality.
> Right now, they are advertizing for featured writers in many different categories including music, hobbies and craft, money and investing, etc. Even though these positions are not salaried, the accepted featured writers do get a much better exposure than their fellow writers would, as their posts are highlighted under the category. This does sound like a good way to build up your on-line profile, if you’re seriously writing on-line. Needless to say, your featured postings also raise adsense income, just like the rest. You can find out more here and click into the xomba blog.
