The first one I would suggest is the Bible. God's word through Jesus Christ provides for me an example of perfection in which I can always compare myself to.

The second one I would recommend is Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich or his The Law of Success. Hill studied and interviewed some of the most successful people of the early 1900's including: Thomas Edison, Andrew Carnegie, John Rockefeller, Henry Ford and others. Through his study he formulated and recorded the keys to success. You can actually read this book for free online. Here's the link http://www.sacred-texts.com/nth/tgr/index.htm

I would recommend that you read the Quran and the books of Hadith that would most definitely put you in a good standing for an ethical start to your career.  Everything that you need as a person is covered in the Quran and Hadith, from time keeping and the mannerism you need to adopt when dealing in a business or social context to how you should conduct your financial and legal obligations is covered, open your mind and read as say - don't just think that it is a religious book therefore it does not contain what i need in life.
