What books do you think are essential to read for young professionals?
My questions is from senior and mature professionals about what books are essential to read and a must have in order to have accelerated ethical start of their career. you can also general books as well as suggestions related to your own career . Name two to four books and why?
because books is the the door of world, is the first way to how to learn and why to know about all.
The first one I would suggest is the Bible. God's word through Jesus Christ provides for me an example of perfection in which I can always compare myself to.
The second one I would recommend is Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich or his The Law of Success. Hill studied and interviewed some of the most successful people of the early 1900's including: Thomas Edison, Andrew Carnegie, John Rockefeller, Henry Ford and others. Through his study he formulated and recorded the keys to success. You can actually read this book for free online. Here's the link http://www.sacred-texts.com/nth/tgr/index.htm

To understand how economy works and how to organize your business it could help to read a few books.

3. CSR
Sociolgy The Core by Michael Hughes and Carolyn J.Kroehler published by Mc Graw Hill

All these books are used at international Universities if people study Business Administration, Management etc.
They unveil the basic knowledge and give several examples how to apply the knowledge for all kind of businesses.
I would recommend that you read the Quran and the books of Hadith that would most definitely put you in a good standing for an ethical start to your career. Everything that you need as a person is covered in the Quran and Hadith, from time keeping and the mannerism you need to adopt when dealing in a business or social context to how you should conduct your financial and legal obligations is covered, open your mind and read as say - don't just think that it is a religious book therefore it does not contain what i need in life.
