Would you open a store based on your internet business?
For the last two years I have considered taking my online business to the mall for Christmas, I sell a very wide range of flags... I have started going business to business selling them and I am going to guess I will see alot of growth in online sales because of it.... southjerseyflags.com is my store... I still dont have a brick and mortar store and dont know that I ever will.. I do use their advertising methods though
I don't know, interesting question. In this economy it is a hit and miss with profitable stores. You can afford the hills and valleys with the online market because the rent is cheap and you don't have to worry about building codes and taxes etc.
Like jenbouka said, it would be totally hit or miss in this economy. You would probably also want to look at where the majority of your online customers are coming from. An online business lets you run your company from anywhere, anytime, which gives you more freedom and also eliminates rent, utilities, and other overhead costs that might absorb the majority of your profits.
It would depend in large part on the type of business. Not all business would transition well to a bricks and mortal typle establishment.
Internet is very common in this era and your business online presence is very vital and it will be your virtual store that will be opened 24 hours and 7 days a week.It is also cost effective and helps you in getting more sale and more customers.Customers can place orders through shopping cart by placing order and filling forms.
I honestly can not see an upside. You might get slightly more business, but have higher costs and a lack of freedom. Every year internet sales grow, while brick and mortar sales decline in most segments. I also use their advertising methods, but can't find any reason to open a storefront.
