How do I explain my reasoning for leaving a bad fomer employer without it looking bad on me?
I formerly worked for a NPO but quit for two reasons: (1) My boss was blaming me for his inabilities to complete his work and (2) I faced verbal threats from another co-worker and my boss would not handle the situation, so how in a job interview do I explain my reasoning for leaving my former employer without it coming out looking bad for me because I have never dealt with a situation like this before?
You don't want to smear your former employer. The guy doing the hiring will think, "This is what she will say about us when she's gone."
Focus on why you want to work with a company that is more focused, more efficient, and values it's employees.
That way, you compliment the company for which you are interviewing. And, they can infer that those qualities do not belong to the former company. For example, don't post the company name publicly (NPO).
If you mention the drama, the hiring manager will wonder how much of it has to do with YOUR character (which is reasonable). Look at it from the hirer's perspective:
"Hmmmm.... her boss was blaming her for deadline issues. An interpersonal relationship escalated to threats. Hmmm..."
Show up with your resume, a good cover letter, and know as much as you can about the hiring committee, the company, and the position. Use glassdoor.com and similar sites to know how much compensation you should request, and some of the questions that get asked in interviews.
And: PRAY!
Never ever criticize your former employer. Chances are you won't be called back for a second interview in a job if you do. You lie and come up with some nice diplomatic answer like I wanted to broaded out in my area or something.
You never know who knows who in the business world.

Okay, just heard this on a TV programme/documentary, but sadly missed the crucial solution. It is now bugging me no end, I just can't explain it, so I need someone, anyone in fact, to explain to me how this works. Here goes:3 friends go to a restaurant for a meal. The bill arrives and it is for...
