In the UK, the amount you can earn is highly dependant upon the area of houses you are given to work with. Poor areas, low sales. If you have lots of friends, a workplace and lots of relatives you can bump up sales this way. I tried three times to sell Avon products but never lasted longer than a year or so each time. In the winter it's hard going door to door to deliver products/collect money to find the person out two or three times ( despite leaving a leaflet to say when you would call again with your phone number on it). The most I ever made was at christmas time and could maybe earn around £50-£60. Mostly my earnings were around £35 throughout the year. ( around 20 regular customers) I dont know if you know but you have to buy the catalogues too so you can knock at least £5 off your earnings each time a new campaign starts. Its one of the worst paid jobs I have ever done.
