I had that happen after my first divorce. i went back to a job. However, I learned along the way to sell. Selling is where it all starts. The ability to create money from thin air is a skill that anyone can acquire. No matter what your circumstance, no website, no computer, etc. , you can make money by selling.

get another job or start your own company. it sucks when you lose your job but it's awesome when you start over again and succeed.

I so agree with this answer. That is what I did more or less. I just took my skills to the internet. Found a few programs that work and pay me. And now I get to write on hubpages just because I want to. smile

having a job is one great way we get to learn and acquire experience as we perform and fulfill our responsibilities. Depending on what your job description was, and if you have access to the internet, you can now start earning income as a freelancer on the internet. This means that you  search for reputable sites on the internet such as oDesk and look for freelance jobs on your area of experience and qualification. However, it may take time before you earn income but once you create a name and reputation for yourself, income and job opportunities will flow your way abundantly.

All the best if you decide to venture into this new but fulfilling experience
