   My dream was to be a designer, fashion and then interior. I'm still an interior designer, but only of my home. Now I'm just paying the bills until I graduate. Then I hope to get a job doing what I enjoy.

   I wanted to be archaeologist when I was growing up. Instead though I ended up doing my dream job, taking care of my 3 sweet children and a loving husband! Wouldn't change it for anything!

   When I was little, I wanted to be the Wizard of Oz. When I got a little older, I wanted to be the greatest female guitar player in the history of history. As an adult, I decided I wanted to be a writer. I don't know much about flying monkeys and I can't play guitar, so I guess it's going to be writing.

   When I was real little I wanted to be a runway model for Revlon and loved playing with makeup and jewelry (still do).  Did I become a runway model.............No.  Then I wanted to be a veterinarian, but now I am in a job making a living.

   When I was 4-5 I wanted to be a vet. When I turned 7 we realized I was highly allergic to cats and other animals. I was crushed!
   Then I wanted to be a detective but I changed my mind real quick!! Then a councilor. Then a social worker. Now, I just want to be a mother to my two children and a wife to my husband. I am glad I can be a free-lace writer and stay home with my kids. I am not looking forward to getting a job outside of my home.

   When I was growing up, I wanted to learn Karate, play guitar, and travel the world.  I ended up learning Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai and Kung Fu.  I learned to play the guitar, bass, piano, and the drums.  I have also lived all around America and Germany.  As far as financially, I never really thought about money when I was growing up.  I am a freelance artist, writer and composer, and in the Air Force Reserve, kind of all over the place.

   When I was really little I wanted to be either a baseball player or a race car driver.  As I got a little older I wanted to be a marine biologist.  Needless to say, none of those careers worked out for me.  Now I am just working at a job and making a living.

   While at school I wanted to be a lawyer. But I left the country at 18, married 2 years later, and decided to study to be a pricing analyst. I have worked in the field for 12 years now and I do enjoy it a lot. But at the same time I love writing, and would love to be a freelance copywriter eventually.

    I don't know, I haven't grown up yet. But I still dream of being a ballerina, a musician, a world famous artist, a pullitzer prize winner, a firefighter, a world class chef, an ice skater....

    Growing up I had always wanted to be a firefighter. Unfortunately certain stupid driving choices when I was younger closed the door on that dream. The worst part of the situation is that I was halfway through my training at the Fire Academy when I  had committed my final offence. Now it's just about a paycheck because without going back to school I will never enjoy the work I am doing.

    When I was growing up all I ever wanted to be was an excellently skilled and successful NHL hockey player. Imagine making millions to play the game you began when you were 4 years of age. Although I almost made it, I eventually discovered I was not talented enough; thus, I reinvented myself as a forest engineer. Now this indeed was a bit of a dream job for a single guy in his early 20s; flying in choppers north of lake Superior, visiting small lakes that were ideal for fishing because they had never been fished (or for that matter visited by "man"); seeing amazing sites and acts of wildlife; hunting...
    Yet (once again) after I fell in love and married, this environment and "life" became less than ideal. Therefore, I reinvented myself initially as the City of Fort Lauderdale Urban Forester (it really was like being the proverbial Maytag Repairman); besides my expertise was road engineering in the Boreal Forest not palm trees and other tropical urban street trees... Thus once again, I reinvented myself,  and after graduate school I became a educational psychologist/assistant professor and that my friends has been my ideal job for the past 15 years... I love what I do; I have lots of autonomy, I have created a learning theory and written 1 book and co-authored another (worst seller)...

    When I was a child I wanted to become an archeologist. Now I understand that I wouldn't be great in it, as I'm not fond of history))
    And in some 13-15 I wanted to be FBI agent)
