I do like my job, mainly because of the brilliant people who work there. I'm a ward clerk in a critical care unit. It's not your typical office job. Some of the situations are very sad, you have to be involved in a detached way to save yourself. There is a surprising amount of humour, that's what gets you through the day.

I'm glad you're enjoying your job.

Everyone is happy the first day they start a new job. After time goes on it's gets to be routine. I'm happy with the money, but tired after many years of working at the same place. However unless something better comes along, then I'll just keep on making the best of it.

I'm a private swim instructor. While it is entertaining with the screams and cries during the first three weeks of each session, I am counting down the months until I can achieve a position as a payroll clerk full-time. Just two more semesters at college, then I can get there. However, my most prefered position would be in human resources.

It would be rewarding knowing you are potentially saving lives by teaching children to swim however the screaming would get to you ! I hope your plans work out .

I've been in a position for 5 years, whilst I love the lovely people I work with and it keeps me coming back but I'm looking for a career change, This year maybe the one that will pull me in the right direction smile

I am in a job that no longer fufills me. I am there because it allows me more time with my children. I don't know what I want to do in the future but I am working on it. I will say I do work with great people and they are not the problem!

I would never be happy working, I have never liked the idea of already rich people profiting from your work.
The work I do is for me also letting me make a little on the side.
