The worst customer service I ever got... wait, there are two.
The worst customer service I got was waiting all week long, being good and getting all my chores done, with the promise of getting an egg and cheese biscuit from McDonald's Saturday morning if I finished this massive "To do" list. Well, I finished the list and then Saturday morning I waited in the drive-through line for an hour and a half before getting my egg and cheese biscuit, which was still runny and got all over my clothes (raw egg--bad news). So, I park and go in and ask to speak to the manager. Apparently in the few seconds it had taken me to get egged and park, they'd switched from serving breakfast to serving lunch, and no way could they possibly make me a new egg and cheese biscuit. I told them I'd been waiting in line for an hour and a half and that they would be reported to authorities for serving almost-uncooked egg. Still wouldn't budge. I finally had to accept a Big Mac, fries and coke, which I wasn't in the mood for at all, especially after the argument, and only ate about 1/4th of the burger (who's in the mood for a burger and fries at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday???). I still love McDonald's, but I never went back to that one. Hm. My waistline is showing how much I love eating junk... Maybe I'd better not eat at McDonald's in general so often.
The other worst customer service? I was in a small town in the middle of NOWHERE farmland with my dad and his wife and the service dog I was training. It was dad's birthday and he wanted wine with his meal and the only place nearby that that was possible was at DoublePlay, a dive bar in Blue Earth, MN. The owner of the restaurant kept trying to kick us out even though the dog was perfectly well-behaved under the table, whereas the manager was flipping out and making a scene and she too called the police. I called 911, asked to be connected to the police because I'm being kicked out of the restaurant despite the ADA constitutional amendments that allow this. 911 told me they couldn't connect me to the police I had to call them directly since it wasn't an emergency! I explained that I was nowhere, the law was being violated, and I had no clue how to get the police number it in this dumpy little bar. 911 said they'd leave a message for the police. The police never ever did call me back! Another customer, overhearing, offered to pay for our meals and never eat there again (I
