How many of you make $100 or more off of sites like Hubpages or Webanswers?
What sites to you use and what did you do to earn this accomplishment? I am trying to earn $100 or more a month and I would like to know what other's have used and how they got there in order for me to meet this goal.
Write some good, quality content that people will read, and keep writing. Making a specified amount of money isn't going to happen over night, in writing it takes time. Nothing special is really being done. Some peoples advertising skills or knowledge of SEO's may be beneficial, but its still going to take a little time.
Not not many, but there are a few people who make nice spending money off of writing sites. As mentioned before, it takes time for money to accumulate. Also, take advantage of google advertising, be sure it is relevant to the topic you are covering.
I make my payouts on Hubpages. I have tried Squidoo, but did not have much success so I quit writing on there. There was another site I wrote for that paid for your writing, first it was for blogs and other hub types but then they wanted you to post reviews of products and they had to be positive and they didn't care if you used the product. I reported those requests but then was booted because I refused client work. So I mostly just make my money on hubpages and my garden blog and my christmas blog.
You can earn that much per month on HubPages if you write excellent useful hubs that people will share and find informative. I also use my collection of hubs as writing samples when applying for other freelance jobs. The past few months I have more clients than I can handle and they always come back to me. In my opinion, if you want a sideline career as a writer it takes a lot of effort, time and practice. HP is a great springboard for experience and to gain other gigs that pay well.

What are my fellow Hubbers doing with hubs that aren't selected for a niche site? Do you plan on leaving them on HubPages or moving them. I'm not sure if it would be better to move them to my blog and risk losing page rank or to leave them and see what happens to all those "left...

Are there other similar sites like hubpages where we could ask and give advice?I like hubpages and mylot. I could freely air my thoughts and ideas. I could also ask questions and answer them too. I need more sites like this that could get me busy when I'm bored.
