AHA, I did a hub on the importance of being likeable in the corporate world.Those who are deemed likeable are more likely to get the choice assigments & right corporate strokes which make them MORE likely to get promoted.
So CORRECT, RIGHT ON THE MONEY. Highly intelligent people AREN'T going to play game and can detect BS miles away. That often DOESN'T sit well w/superiors who tend to love sycophants as those who are intelligent prose some type of unease to them.
I think I have found an answer that I have been looking for. My new boss has been assigned to my territory after two years and I have been here for twenty and she throws every curve at me to get me to quit but I have the intelligence to dodge them.
