Work is Force x Distance x Cosine of Theta (Direction in angle) with mechanics and motion.
Work is what is done to accomplish something. It requires a force and something is moved somehow and someway to somewhere. That can be an object or an idea.
IMHO . . . Work is not a job. Work is what gets accomplished at a job. However, the definition of job has a multiple of meanings. Yet, work occurs without a job too.
Work is not what gets achieved. Achieved is the result of an 'action' behaviorally. Something is now somewhere else - object or idea. Or, (a) work has occurred (required) because of Motion (doing it) resulting from an action (decision and behavior).
