Do you order something online & pay for shipping just to avoid the hassle of store shopping?

Sometimes. I like shopping in person for some things, like groceries and clothing. If I'm restocking art supplies, however, I've been doing that by mail, and now, online, for over 25 years. I don't really need to see and feel a jar of gesso or a 24 x 36 hardboard panel---just send them to me!

Yes. I would pay even extra to avoid those crazies at Christmas.

I am one of those people who like to see what I am buying so no I don't shop online. I like going around the shops and see what I am going to buy. I don't mind shopping with the crowd. I can't buy shoes online because I have to try them and clothes as well.

Yes, I do....not only at Christmas but always. A lot of the time the prices are lower on-line then in stores which offsets the shipping costs. I also frequently use my Amex "points" to buy all sorts of stuff for free, as well as for no shipping costs. Shopping on line saves me so much time, that I'm glad to pay shipping so I don't have to get dressed, run out, drive to several stores and lug packages home and up the stairs.

I run a business from my home and I'm on line all day long anyhow, so it's a breeze to every once in a while do some shopping at my computer as a break from the tedium of working.

Absolutely.  If I don't have to drive and physically go shopping,  I much prefer shopping online with reputable services.  With many online stores, if you order over a certain dollar amount, there is no shipping charge.  But I don't mind paying for shipping over 'going shopping' and not knowing if you're going to find what you're looking for.  I work outside of the home so I very much value my time at home.

No. I do order online, but I make sure that I pick places that offer free shipping. Target for example does free shipping the whole month of December, so no matter how small an item I get, there is no shipping costs. I only do this in December. The rest of the year I actually enjoy shopping in person and hunting down good deals and clearance items.

I only order on-line when the stores in my area do not have what I am looking for.  I also do not have a car and the ease of getting my item at my door is great when I cannot go out and get the item.  That Free Shipping thing is also not as good as you may think that it is.  It makes you spend more than what you want to spend.  It used to be at Amazon that you would get FREE shipping if your order was $25.00. Now it is up to $35.00.

I love shopping online but don't do it unless I have something specific to purchase. Some places are great and do offer free shipping but others have a limit on what you have to spend and as long as it is within reason I will pay. But in the last two weeks of December, if I can avoid the shops I will. Sometimes the stores don't have what you need and you have no choice but to purchase it online.

Sometimes if you google 'free delivery vouchers' for a specific website you will find them on voucher websites, but the company will have a time limit on how long they can be used for.
