Many people say that replying to emails with "done" or saying "thanks" will make you more successful if used habitually. What is one word I should use more often if I want to be successful?
Intention statements are powerful tools for success. For example:
I intend to take the trash out immediately after work.
As opposed to:
I was going to do it later.
The second statement is ambiguous, in that it has lost it's meaning. The most important thing in it is "I". Saying the first one out loud primes the mind for recall later. You were supposed to do something?...When you got off work? Oh yeah, the trash.
