Good question. I'd say it's a tie: lobbyist for a cause I'm against or a police officer. The first should be obvious for anyone with a soul but the latter might need explaining.
I have a disability: epilepsy. I even wrote a hub about my experiences with it. Epilepsy means no handling firearms and no driving. It's the reason I'm no longer in the Army and it's the reason I can never be a cop. They couldn't pay me to do it and I can't see myself doing it.
That's not all. I'm from America and being a cop in America is dangerous and thankless, especially in urban areas. Some might say that American citizens are being gunned down on American soil by a hyper-militarized police force. Then all the public gets are "thoughts and prayers" from politicians.
Because of bad cops, protecting the people is much harder for good cops who love their communities. This is not a good time to be a cop. They couldn't pay me to do it and I can't see myself doing it.
