laughed, spoke baby talk, and refused to fill my order. He was alone in the store as well. Minimum wage increased, so perhaps the crew was cut to the bone and the guy was in there drunk or similar. What has happened to good service? This is not worth $15/hour.

Happy New Year! I'm going back this afternoon in broad daylight. Hope to get some answers. Meanwhile, I reported it to corporate HQ.
Good for you! Customer service needs an overall improvement nearly everywhere. It's ALL about "attitude!" :)
The Mgr. was shocked, will investigate. Meanwhile, I reported 2 Kroger baggers for stealing food from my cart after checkout. Kroger email system crashed with complaints and the K mgr. said the holiday season was full of employee problems this yr..
Yes, the manager needs to know.
Good advice. I made an official complaint and am awaiting news. I will stay away as you suggest in the meantime.
The scenario you describe appears to be a little far-fetched to me. But even if this incident was caused by what you describe, should customers just tolerate this? Doesn't the owner deserve to keep his business alive and employees keep their jobs?
This situation seems possibly to be more complex than I thought..Any road, the guy at the window was mid-20s and in a proper uniform.
Jeff, your point is well taken. Perhaps I am wrong. If I am not and I take your stance I am an a-hole. Do you have a child with learning disabilities?
My badass self does not. Perhaps I should care and lead my life with the benefit of the doubt. OK?
Service will worsen whether wages go up or down at this point in US history.
So why is it important to you to lower the minimum wage? One guy gave you bad service. It's on the one guy, not on millions of people just trying to survive.
What are you talking about? Min. wage is not $15/hr. anywhere in Ohio. Fast food workers WANT $15/hr. I wrote that bad service is not worth $15/hr. (I would not give the increase from $8.10 to $15 here.)
