I read an article in USA Today last week about this. Apparently, RN jobs are becoming more scarce in part because there are less nurses retiring and a lot of new grads. So, it's taking RNs longer to find new positions. If you need to find something real quickly, try agency work. Some companies -- insurance, law firms, hire RNs as FT workers or consultants. Do you have the time/money for additional training -- physican's assistant or nurse practitioner are hot careers. Good luck in your job search.
