Document these incidents. If there are witnesses this will help your cause. If you take the appropriate actions to document what happens and escalate your concerns to upper levels above the HR person and these continue to go unaddressed or you experience retaliation, you can ultimately file for a lawsuit if that is your last resort. If you work for a private firm it is harder to escalate if the top level is one owner or works closely with HR but if it is a large corporation there are more levels to escalate these things go.
