Which retail stores will close in 2011?
In this tough economy many stores are on the verge of closing for good. Large chains will close unprofitable stores. This will be another make-or-break year for retailers with Christmas season sales making the difference.
These are the stores that are already not making profits:
Blockbuster - it is getting beat up by video on demand like netflix.
GAP
Abercrombie and Fitch
American Eagle
these three retail stores are good stores but said to be closing some stores already and are trending to close more.
i know dillards is always like a ghost town these days, so i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if all their stores got closed down in the near future.
I know for a fact Blockbuster is closing late 2011, or very early 2012, Personally I am very happy about that. It was the worst job ever! Military is so much better haha

What do you do with plastic bags from retail stores?Do you throw them away or keep them? If you keep them what do you do with them? (Photo via Joe Naylor - Flickr - CC BY 2.0)

In the month of September, does it make good business sense for retail stores to sell decorationsMy husband and I went to a major chain restaurant that also sells retail items. When we walked in, this month of September, we were greeted with Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas all at once....

If you could create a new snack that would be sold in retail stores, what would it be?

Come on HubPages, closing threads all the time, is only going to create more animosity towards one another. The thread was drawing to end on it's own. So why close is Mauddie? I don't get that. Now nobody gets to say their sorry, and work things out to be better...

Now that Borders has announced it is definitely closing all of it's stores - will you miss it?Do you think bookstores are going the way of the dinosaurs? Big box stores eliminated so many "mom and pop" book shops - now Amazon and eBooks are taking over... I know my SO and I used to go on...
