Content Writing

Whatever may be the type of promotion or communication, the content will always play a major role. In doesn’t matter whether that communication will be in English or Hindi. The way you present your thoughts through writing will always matter.

If you can write extremely well and make people read your written text then welcome to the world of content writing. In simple words, content writing is a form of writing and editing contents. In digital marketing, everything revolves around content.

What you see in a blog or website, scripts of videos or podcast, all comes under content writing. Now, I hope you have understood how major is the role of content. Without any doubt content writing is a highly demanding skill in the world of digital marketing. There are special digital agencies that specialize in providing only quality contents. Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

SEO is a specialized technique through which you try to bring the content of your website on the first page of Google search. SEO is the one skill that will always remain high in demand.

It takes time to learn, practice and perfect this art. There is less number of people who know this technique well. When you start applying SEO for your website, it takes time to show results and that’s why many people don’t prefer this.

Broadly SEO is divided into three main parts.
1. On-Page SEO
2. Off-Page SEO
3. Technical SEO

Under each topic, there are many sub-topics. On-Page SEO is done within the articles and inside website. Off-Page SEO is done outside the website. And Technical SEO is related to the technical part of the website.

Digital Advertising

Digital advertising is the form of advertising where advertiser uses social media sites to promote his product or services. Facebook advertising, YouTube advertising, Goole Ads or Instagram marketing are big players in this category.

In recent times, Facebook's advertising platform has gained tremendous popularity. Many people say, it is easy to learn and you can find a laser-focused target audience within Facebook and Instagram.

Although I have also learned Facebook advertising, yet I haven’t tried myself but yes I also found it advertiser-friendly.

To reach your audience on social media you have two methods. First by organic reach, for which we can use SEO and post content in social media. And the second method is a paid form of advertising. Since advertisers want quick results, they mostly opt for the paid form of advertising. I have seen more course in Facebook advertising than SEO.

Video Creation

Video is making waves in social media and now everyone wants to make videos and show their talent. Due to coronavirus and lockdown video consumption rapidly increased in every part of the world. More and more people are spending time on mobile by watching videos.

Videos not only provide entertainment but they are also more visually appealing. By learning this skill you can start your own YouTube channel from home. I believe you should learn this skill and you can even use videos to attract your clients.

Funnel Creation

Last but not least important skill which is very high in demand is funnel creation. Funnel in simple word means it is the creation of a system through which your prospective customers will go through before becoming your customers.

For example, suppose you have advertised by using Facebook lead campaign. In this you are offering some lead magnet (free ebook). In this way, you will get the details of your prospective customers. So, here the funnel was free ebook and Facebook advertising.

If you want to read more about funnel then click the link below. It contains information about funnels in more depth.

Digital marketing is one of the best ways to reach your audience and it shouldn’t be ignored any longer. Although digital marketing contains more topics and if you want to become successful try to learn some of the above-mentioned topics first. There are many free videos available on YouTube. And my advice will be don’t ignore them and start learning from today itself.
