Firefighter Kids: The Fire Dept Bond
Firefighter Kids: Fire Dept Gifts Of Childhood
Firefighter kids are the children of firemen and female firefighters for generations of fire dept families that have grown up in firehouses, played on the fire truck bumper and know the fire pager tones better than they know Dora the Explorer. They are the daughters and granddaughters of firefighters who played Barbie Princess on the fire trucks, the sons and grandsons that have put on the bunker gear, helmets included and washed the fire trucks right alongside their dads, grandfathers, uncles and brothers.
Fire department families have shared generations of their children through good times and bad. Congratulating each other on birthdays, promotions, birth of their children and moving into a new home and comforting each other for the loss of a family member, sicknesses and unemployment. They have cooked for fire dept families in need, baby sat their children and been there for them through thick and thin.
The fire department children are the center of the circle that is filled with fire chief grandfathers and their grandchildren, dads and moms, sons and daughters, nieces and nephews and all of the kids that are a part of the history and tradition of the firehouse.

Future Firefighters Fire Dept Logos
Of course not all fire department kids grow up to become firefighters, but from the day they are introduced to the fire rescue world they get to be identified with the fire department maltese cross. How adorable is the brand new baby of a firefighter in their "future firefighter" t-shirts and onesies. Pictures of dalmatians and Sparky the Fire Dog and red fire trucks decorate their rooms.
Moms in maternity t-shirts with firefighter logos and personalized baby diaper bags announce proudly these kids are firefighter family kids. Firefighter theme birthday parties and baby showers are always a big hit and so are all the adorable fire theme favors, gifts, banners and signs.
Firehouse Kids Make The Place Shine
It's true. When firefighter family kids are in the Station it makes the place shine. Everyone is smiling and welcoming, offering to play on the fire truck, give them snacks, make sure they stay safe. If there's a "Member's" room and TV you can be sure there are kids videos and toys around for them to play with. Usually though, kids know their way around because it's like a second home to them. They want to hang out with their real friends like Sparky the fire dog and the cool firefighters that turn into mush whenever they come around to visit.

Everyone loves a firefighter theme birthday party with all the universal symbols of firefighting. Invitations with fire trucks, matching party napkins and plates and cups with hydrants, dalmatian dogs, ladders and flames are just the beginning of the fun. Add to that fire engine centerpieces for the table, games to play and the awesome favor gift boxes filled with goodies and you have a fun filled, action packed birthday of a lifetime.
Sometimes lucky kids get to have their birthday party at their family firehouse and that's always a lot of fun. Fire engine rides, a tour of the department and prevention related games not mention cool pictures with the firemen.

A Child's Point Of View
Children are so impressionable, yet so very smart. They can instinctively tell when something important is going on in their world. They are so unaware of some of the simple things in life, yet so amazingly in tune to those close to them.
Kids know when Mom and Dad are worried. They know when there is something they feel, but cannot put words to it. It becomes so important for firefighter families to reassure children of all ages that even though there is an emergency Mom or Dad is taking care of, they will be all right.
There are times when it is hard enough for adults close to firefighters to try to not worry, making sure firefighter kids are OK and comfortable with emergency situations is sometimes very challenging, but important to help them deal with the feelings they have and aren't even really sure how to express.
You have to give out a great matching loot bag for birthday party goodies and favors for kids of all ages.
Firefighter Kids Sacrifice Too
Fire Engine Party Pack Kit includes the dessert plates, cups, napkins and the matching table cover.
So why are firefighter's kids so special? Well all kids are special of course but these children get to wash the fire trucks, hang out at the firehouse, they know Sparky and the Fire Chief real well and have a special bond with the fire trucks like no other little guys get to have. They get to do all these things and they also have to sacrifice a lot too because their relatives are serving on fire depts.
There are many birthday parties that don't have Dad there when it's time to blow out the candles. Lots of homework assignments are interrupted because the pager goes off and there is a fire, motor vehicle accident or emergency somewhere. Family dinners are famous for one or two seats being empty or dinner going cold because their parent, grandfather, uncle or older brother are responding to someone who needs them.
These kids are part of a firefighter's world even when they are left behind.
Fire Engine Party Favor Fun Boxes to stuff full of fun little favors and sweet treats for all the future firefighter kids at the party.
No one cheers on a firefighter like a future firefighting cheerleader. Backed by family and friends, pride of the station and dedication ready for the next job. No fire truck is shinier than the eyes of a proud child. No fire hose more magical than the one kids are allowed to use to help wash the trucks.
No magic is more enchanting than a piggyback ride on the shoulders of someone you love five feet taller high up in the sky than you are proudly showing off their love.
Cheers to firefighters for all of their hard work and sacrifice. Cheers to their children for their support, love, worry and sharing a world of dedication.
Fire Trucks On The Roll
Fire trucks are rolling safely as driver training in the firefighter family starts early. Whether your favorite engine is red, yellow or white there is no one who doesn't love a ride in the fire truck.
Firefighter kids not only get to take a ride in the fire truck, don't worry they are seat belted just like firefighters today should be, but they also get to sit on the bumper, make believe they are driving the fire truck and most importantly, get to wave to the fire engines as they pass by proudly telling everyone who will listen that there goes there firefighter Dad or Grandpa, Uncle or Mom with a big smile on their face and a lifetime of happy memories to share.
Baby's First Visit
Baby's first visit to the station might be remembered more by the grown ups in their life. Grandpa Chief gets to show off his pride and joy, their new beautiful granddaughter or grandson. Dad and Mom get to enjoy their first showing at the station and maybe a little wish for a future firefighter some day to follow in their foot steps.
Future Firefighters Start Young
Kids are never too young to get started in the fire dept and show off their family pride from the day they are born!
