    Other than the basics of setting up your account for affiliate advertisers, brush up on SEO and internet marketing. Teach yourself whatever you can find that you don't know about the subject, then start trying things out and pay close attention to what works and what doesn't work, then try to figure out why. Take the time to research your subject and keywords, and set aside a certain amount of time every day to devote to finding good sites and placing backlinks. If you rely on what you can make off of just Hubpages traffic, you're not likely to get much of anything at all...basically, you're figuring out your target market and then finding ways to bring them here.
