Did your workplace teach you to say 'NO'?
People take advantage when you're a bit soft and especially show your enthusiasm and volunteer for extra work, more and more work piles on you as you cannot say a 'NO' occasionally. My workplace have made me stronger, I feel proud as I have learnt to say 'NO' and did say a couple of times! What about you?
No. My workplace expected all the employees to be yesmen, saluting to the whims and fancies of the boss. If the boss said two and two equals five, we were asked to endorse it. Even slightest difference of opinion was not tolerated. No doubt my office collapsed like a pack of cards because of high level corruption. But in India corruption is quite common, is it not?
