    What are good methods to build traffic to a business page to build the "like" base.

    Be more visible online and do more social media activities. Don't only focus on Facebook, you can join other social sites and promote your Facebook page there. Do more SEO as well to optimize your site. Hope this helps.

      Go on Fiver and buy some likes.  For 5 bucks you can get like 500 likes.  That way you look like people really like it so then other people come to your page they will like it too.

      You need to get your name out there.  Work on building your brand and you will see results.  Remember nothing comes to those who sit.  Its about action.

      Hold a contest, giveaway, or promotion. An easy way to drive traffic is to display an interesting photo and ask your readers to come up with a caption.  Of course, you will want to promote your page on G+, Twitter, your blog, etc. to help get it more exposure...call in friends/family if necessary to reach their sphere of influence.
