Get listed fast on Google,Yahoo and MSN within days-Beginners!

Updated on December 22, 2014

Getting listed fast on Google,Yahoo and MSN is not always the easiest task for beginners.
I`ve been there and I know how it feels. Odd as it might sound, submitting your blogs or sites to search engines may not be the best perhaps the fastest way of getting listed.

I have tried pinging and submitting a blog that I newly created just recently to search engines and to my notice it actually raided in the result eventually but it took weeks if not months just to get listed.

NOTE:(Getting listed on Google or any other search engine doesn't guarantee your blog or sites a first page listing of any search result) and for new bloggers without patients, some might become frustrated and give up on there goals of ever becoming a blogger. In order to get listed fast on Google and the others, here is what you need to do.

First of all Consider placing your sites or blogs in the path of search engines, as some would say, "place your sites or blogs in front" of the search engines bots as they visit other websites. This is the best and the fastest way without any doubt.

Secondly your sites must be strategically linked to sites that are regularly spidered by the search engine bots. This should be preferably site that are spidered multiple times in a day or just daily.

Listed below are some sites that are GUARANTEED to get your your sites spidered ASAP!-Within days.

It has been said that getting a listing from is not easy, I'm not sure how they do it,but I can assure you, it is most certainly the easiest task to do but if you have a defeated attitude you are most likely to fail.So I strongly suggest you get this out of your mind and focus.

All it takes is to write a good article in relation with your site or have someone write the articles you need, of course your articles must be 100% free of plagiarism with a good headline and nothing less than a 1000 words.

Here is what you need to do

1: Make sure you create a website with a content based section. This is highly recommended as you will need to keep on posting fresh new content to keep your site alive, remember search engines love fresh contents.

This content based section could be for news, articles relating to your site or just for announcements. Now what is left to do is to go to and register for an account. Make sure you confirm your account upon registration.

Now go back to digg, and click on the submit a new story link. Once this is done you will receive a request to submit a link to the story, this however should be the exact location to the article you've written.

Choosing a category relating to your site for your submission is very important. Your website will be listed on digg in the category you selected within minutes and when the search engines visits digg your's will be found and quickly spidered as I said. Check on your stats later on, you will see that Google-bot, MSN and others have visited your website.

Awstats shows the last visit of the bots and it's personally used by me. Whenever I submit my sites to Digg the search engines-bots visits within 24 hours and starts to spider my website.
A site similar to Reddit is much more favorable to newbies as compared to digg. Most of your article are instantaneously listed.

Your articles will automatically appear in the "new" section and be spidered quickly because this section is mostly visited by the search engines bots most frequently, perhaps multiple times per day.

The best option submitting a site is to do it at night as it is more likely that there will be less competition during the night allowing your site to appear for a longer period of time. With reddit you will have to follow the same procedure as you did at digg for the registration process and the submission of website

Submitting to both Riddit and Digg, your chances of being spidered quickly has doubled giving your site more weight as it appears on both websites.

KEYNOTE: It is however very important that, when submitting your link to this two sites, you must have all the links you want spidered on the page submitted unless you are submitting your homepage which includes all of your links.

A classified ads site that receives tons of visitors per day by default, it is spidered constantly. Craigslist is a free classified ads site that contains many categories. With Craigslist you will need to have a registered account in order to submit a free ad in the category that best describes your site.

Mostly on Craigslist, Ads. usually takes a week or 7 days to stay on the site and during that time you will be getting a substantial amount of traffic form craigslist with no doubts and most importantly craigslist will place your website link in the path of the search engine bots hence being indexed quickly.

Web Forums
Because of the numerous activities on web forums day in day out, search engines are always spidering this web forums multiple time per day and you might also get lucky .With web forums, the key is to find forums that are related to your sites and quickly get registered.

Because this is also another great way to get indexed quickly
Make sure you work with popular forums to strengthen your links or give it more weight. There are thousands of forums online and all you have to do is search for the ones that are targeted to your websites. I am however unable to list forums because i'm not sure if they relate to your sites.

For example if your site is related to cars, search for forums that are related to cars and get registered.
Here is what you need to do with Web forums.

Signature creating with forums is key, And also ensure that anchor texts used, should be the keyword that you will like your site to be indexed for.Anchor text is simply the text or word representing your links.

For example if your site is related to cars, you should have an anchor text that say free cars "as your signature" or any other words but includes cars. This way when your site is being spidered, you are sure of being indexed for the keyword your site is about.

Directory Submission.
Using web directories is a good way to get indexed fast. There are thousands of directories on the web of late, of-course some are free to submit but most of them are paid.

Each directory has it own time frame of adding a site to there database, some might take days or weeks or even months. A word of advice, is to stick to only paid web directories since your site will be listed fast and get indexed eventually.

The only problem is, if you decide to pay for a web directory submission you need to know and use, only the trusted sites with a good solid page-ranking and is spidered regularly.

Below is a list of some web directories that i often use and are proven to do a good job!

I consider as the granddaddy of all web directories, if you don't then I don't see us working together, just kidding.

Even though yahoo in the recent years seems to have lost focus on their directory, none the less, I still think it is however necessary to get a listing from yahoo because a listing can get you a link in yahoo search quickly. Yahoo does however offers paid submissions

Dmoz have various category for listings. Submitting to this directory is never guaranteed and can sometimes take days or week to get a listing, but it is totally worth it since your site will be scoring some relevance points with search engines for better ranking.
This is a must for people who own a business related site, actually it's highly recommended but unfortunately it is not for free. It cost $199/ yearly.

Exact Seek web directory is also a good place has been there since 1999 and still are

RSS Feeds
RSS feed is considered a powerful tool to get your site spidered quickly. With RSS feeds you are basically providing access to contents on your site through short links, when you are registered with RSS feed networks, it is easy to get your new content out there.

Updating your site will automatically update it feeds to the various networks you are registered with. I won't go into details technically, so I don't get people confused but i'm sure going to guide you in.

Create an RSS Feed. You can read more on the site.

Where to submit your feeds after creation.

High PR6 – PR1 RSS Feed Directory Submission Site

Cross Linking
Sometimes overlooked, but it works. This is basically linking your new site to a site that you already own and it's listed in search engines.

Even though your site might not be a power house as other websites,it does help. Once a site is listed, most search engines keep re-visiting to check for new contents and it might happen that your newly created site when linked to the old site might be spidered alongside and indexed quickly.

CO-OP Ad Network
Mostly operated by Digitalpoint but can be found on other website if research is done. This is a link sharing network that allows everyone to have or display links to each other's website and its rotated when a page is refreshed.

This kind of ads are mostly place by the footer on a website and I know some of us have seen this a lot. Yes its called co-op ad network and it basically allows you to showcase your website to thousands of people on other marketers website.
