How to Make Money at Home or Get a Job

Today's economic woes have seen many thrust out of work, and it is not ending there. The climate is creating even more unemployment. Recently in Australia and elsewhere enormous floods, devastating long droughts, high winds, unseasonal frosts and other things have impacted on orchards, farmers, graziers and sheep breeders. This means there is less food than before and the earth's population is increasing at a horrific rate. The extra numbers must be fed from the dwindling resources. Likewise finding a job is equally as scarce and getting worse.

Several abattoirs have now closed because there are no animals to slaughter. Fruit pickers are finding it difficult to find work because the orchards are failing. Add to this the huge burden of debt that many people have over their heads and there is desperation and despair everywhere.

Below is a list of ways that you can earn money from home. If you are on the land or out of work in the city then apply yourself to some new ideas. Why should you trust me. Mainly because as an older person with a lifetime of experience and more than half of it spent either working for myself or in business employing others it is easier for me to see through the fog. Also my 14 years of Internet experience and many years of Internet marketing helps.

Make Money From Home

There are numerous way you can make money from home. Most people look to do it through Internet Marketing and if that is your choice then the following lenses may help you. Bear in mind nothing is easy in IM, which is the shortened term for it, as there is a lot to learn and a maze of information to plow through. Everyone and his dog will want to sell you books, programs, systems and so on, all with the promise of huge bucks without much effort.

Don't go down that track as there are, like anything else, the right way and the wrong way to approach the task. Buying heaps of e-book from people who have simply copied them from others will get you nowhere except clog up your computer and use up the memory. A lot of e-books these days are generated in a computer software program which churns them out just to sell them online and get paid. Many offer videos to teach you how to do simple tasks and some of these are great. However, there is usually a sales pitch at the end so beware.

The most important thing is to not spend much money while you are learning as the funds will be needed to set up your business.

Other Ways to Make Money at Home

Learn new skills

Many are making heaps by selling their skills to companies in need of staff but not willing to employ them. These include things like reading emails online for say $1 or less each one. You can also take part in surveys, do outsourced typing or a hundred and one other things.

But many want to write and are reasonably good at it but just don't know where to start or what to write about. Some people who are good at writing will take on writing articles for web masters who can't or don't have the time to do it for themselves. You can earn up to $20 an article if you are good at it, Other people proofread and edit works for writers who pay to outsource this part of their business. There are also things like writing copy for web sites and being paid for that.

There are a hundred and one different ways to make money online and writing your own material for sale or selling your skills to others is just some of them. But you might have a novel in you are at least several e-books. You might also have to brush up on your skills before you have the confidence to build a business around it.

That is where these lenses can help.

Understanding Your Computer

Security and Protection are also important

If you use a computer you need to understand how to protect it and learn some coding. While most sites these days can be built through templates and lensea like this one some understanding of the workings of it all will never go astray. There are lots of books on HTML and other things but it is in the working of the computer itself that you need knowledge.

The following lenses only touch on it but they will be added to as new ones are written.

Marketing Online

Before you can convince others learn about it yourself

Many have never shopped online and don't know the joy and ease with which it is done. The best way to learn is to read some sites that are dedicated to Internet marketing and shopping online.

Many people have no other choice but to shop online as they may be too busy to attend a mall. There are many older folk with no vehicles now or who are invalided in some way. Others can be too lazy to go to the shops. For whatever reason what they can buy online today has improved dramatically and the quality is far superior in many cases to that bought in retail premises. Learn why this is and get involved with the right merchants who can help you to present your products in the best possible way.

Shopping lenses are yours and they are open 24/7 and can earn you money without you even knowing . The right products and the right keywords will bring you traffic and from then on you just accept the income. Of course, they do need to be maintained as merchants go out of business, change their lines, or alter their affiliate links. But, in general it is the easiest form of IM which is why so many are opting to do it.

There are many who do not succeed, however, because they fail to learn the ropes and maintain their sites. You get back what you put in and many work at their business, perfecting their sites, finding new products and so on, every day. The following lenses will help you to understand what a shopping site should look like.

Access to drop ship suppliers and a million products to sell. Start online immediately with a fantastic store like a fully stocked retail shop. Don't pay for goods until after they are sold. You get tools to help you succeed along with fully hosted free online store, data-feeds and other essentials to support your e-Commerce experience

I've stayed away from buying any eBooks on making money online. I find other freelancers often share their experience on sites like Squidoo for free. Great community effort to help newcomers. I feel I'm making a pretty good income from my online work, though not enough if I needed it to live on. Very nice supplement though.
