Imagination - Creativity

Updated on October 20, 2013

All Around You Waits Imagination

Imagination is all around you, its energy moving through your mind, body and soul like a soft breeze through a porch screen. Time does not exist where you're not connected to creativity. You may think the imagination connection is turned off but, no it's still humming along waiting for you to tap into it.

You can take your imagination for a walk or put a saddle on it and ride it to the edge of creativity, ball it up and play a game of cosmic hoops that makes you the star of the universe. In another flash you can make your Imagination as small as an atom with 4 little wheels that will drive you around like a quantum taxi careening off electrons and quarks.

In Zen some talk about having 64 moments in the time it takes to snap your fingers and in each one of those moments the universe is created new. Creativity and Imagination are always arising.

It may be everything or it may be nothing, it's up to you.

10 Minutes to a Finding It

where did I put my imagination

I found my car keys the other day in a flower pot, the day before I found a little bit of serenity as I watched the first buds of spring arise to life. But, I can't find my imagination. I'm in a creative slump, a desert bereft of creativity is engulfing me into its stiffing arms.

Does the above sentence remind you of yourself? Do you find yourself bumping into walls and forgetting peoples names or maybe you wake at night wondering where your imagination, where your creative spark went.

Well cheer up there are lots of ways to find that poor lost imagination of yours. What you need to keep in mind is that it's not lost, just misplaced.

I've never had a problem with not enough imagination, usually I am overloaded with it but can't find enough time to explore it all. I'm forward to later this year when my husband and will start full-time rv-ing. I am all in favor of the daily do nothing time. It is my favorite time of the day, and I intend to increase it whenver I can.

In our homeschool co-op, we have one class devoted to thinking outside the box and using one's creativity and imagination. The kids love it!

@anonymous: I know a few parents who have a couple of no computer days every week for their kids.

Our children are losing their creativity I fear. They don't know how to play anymore unless it is on a computer. Have the electricity go out for a day and find out just how uncreative our kids our. It is sad.

I give the greatest importance to imagination and creativity. And I believe that they coupled with daring and sometimes rationality, are powerful instruments to succeed.

Helpful lens, that make me reflect. 5*, definitely
