Making Money From Home-Building Up Multiple Income Streams

Updated on February 22, 2011

Are you looking for ways to make money from home? Do you dream about being able to quit your day job or finally go on a vacation? This article will share with you little jobs you can pick up that will only require a small amount of your time and can turn pennies into dollars in no time.

Why Multiple Income Streams are Important

Many people think that in order for them to be able to quit their job and stay at home and work, they need to find an online job that will pay just as much as what they are presently bringing in now. This is kind of a misconception. Many reasons why working online can be alluring, is the fact that you have the opportunity to do what you like to do and get paid as your own boss.

One of the best ways to make money online is not through just one job, but through many multiple streams of income. In this way, if something does not work out(akin to you being fired offline), you will still have some other means of income coming in. Depending on what you do and how, you can bring in thousands of dollars alone from each one of your streams of income.

Today I am going to share some sites with you where you can make money by just doing a few small things. If you would like more ideas on making money, be sure to check out the resource section at the end of this article.

Set It Up and Forget About It

The following sites give you a little bit of code snippet that you either add to your website or download to your desktop and every time you work, or surf the net, you make money. It may only be a few cents here and there, but the codes do not get in the way, and once you have set it up, you do not have to do anything else than go about your daily business. These pennies can add up to dollars in no time.

Fun and Easy Jobs for Cash

Here are a few other fun, easy jobs you can do that will add another stream of income for you.

Do you like checking out websites? Wish you could get paid to test them out? While now you can. This site has been reviewed by CNN Money, MSNBC, Good Morning America, Amazon and other big name companies. They have effectively used this service and the opinions and advice from users like you to enhance their websites and bring in more traffic and money. As a website tester, you will be paid $10 for every website you test. You need to install a program so that the company can see just what you are doing and see where the problems lie so they can fix them. Full instructions provided.

This site is a fun little diddy that many of my work at home mom friends like to do on their lunch break or to have a moment in between their other jobs. It is really basic. You need to simply give your opinion on how a certain word makes you feel For every word that you rate, you are paid .02. Once you have reached $10, you can be paid through Paypal.

Paid to Click Sites and Surveys

I know some people do not think PTC (Paid to Click) is worth their time unless you get hundreds of referrals underneath you. While this may be true to some extent, there are also sites and strategies that you can use to increase your income without wasting so much time. This is just another way to add $20-$30 a day into your account by spending 10-15 minutes a day. There is one link that will explain the process, and the other links are for the sites that I like.

There are many ways you can make money online if you are really driven and determined that you will do what it takes to make the money you need in order to stay home. With the economy of some countries feeling a little rocky these days, jobs being taken away, and people losing their homes, another source of income is a must.

The only one who can stop you from finding success is YOU. If you take the time and effort, you can find a way to bring in more money, spend more time with your family and really have some fun.
