How To Make Money Online

Updated on July 8, 2013

How Many Ways Are There?

There are hundreds of different ways to make money online. Some of these methods work while other ones don't. In order to make money online, you must have patience and an open mind for every opportunity that you get in order to succeed. I use all of the methods listed below, and I have made hundreds of dollars a month online each month through all of these methods.

Squidoo

Squidoo is a website that allows other people to create websites. On Squidoo, you can get paid for Tiers, sales, and so on. Creating a lens is very easy, and if you already have a website, you can use Squidoo lenses to back link to your website. Squidoo also gives you the power to donate to charity so that some or all of the money that you make can go to a wonderful cause.

Zujava

Zujava is a new website that allows you to make money online by writing good content just like Squidoo. Zujava's pages are called leaves, and they earn money through sales, clicks, and more! Zujava's pays leaves based on a buckets system which is similar to Squidoo's Tier System. Zujava also provide a good back link because Zujava leaves have been known to get a lot of visitors.

Make An eBook

What are you an expert at. Do you know how to play 100 different card games, are you the expert lego builder across the street, or do you have a good taste for artistic design? Everyone is an expert at something, and you can let your expertise bring in some money by creating an eBook. eBooks are potential money earners that can bring in millions of dollars if you promote correctly and keep on making more and more eBooks.

Referral Links

Referral Links are huge money earners that not everyone experiments with. Referral Links allow people to join something under your link, and then the person or company who gave you the link will pay you a random amount. So far, I have inserted referral links on the Squidoo and Zujava logos.

Amazon Associate

As an Amazon Associate, you can promote items straight from Amazon.com! You can choose between millions of products and promote them on your websites, Twitter, or Facebook. Amazon Associates start off with a 4% referral rate which goes up to 6% when more items are bought. If you want a higher referral rate, sell the least expensive items that can be bought multiple times.

Sponsored Tweets

Did you know that you can make money for tweeting? With sponsored tweets, the more followers you have, the more money you can make. Some people can only sell their tweets for $1 while celebrities can sell their tweets for over $2,000! Depending on the number of followers you have, sponsored tweets can be a great source of income.

Twiends

Twiends is a website which allows you to build your Twitter follower count. You follow someone, and then you get a specific number of seeds. You then use your seeds to get other followers as well. I have raised my follower count from 100 to over 1,000 in a matter of weeks with the help of Twiends.

Fiverr

What would you do for $5? Would you do a backflip, sing the Dark Knight Rises song, or give someone more Twitter followers? On Fiverr, you can do almost anything and get $5 in return. In the end, you'll get about $4 per transaction because Fiverr takes some money and then the transfer to Paypal as well.

Social Media

There are so many social media websites in the online world, but only some are the best. Here is a list of the three best social medias to use. All of them can be used to promote Squidoo lenses, Zujava leaves, Amazon Associate IDs, and other referral links.

  • Stumbleupon
  • Twitter
  • Facebook

Stumbleupon

Stumbleupon is the most underrated social media network in the online world. I didn't even know the power of Stumbleupon until I heard that Stumbleupon got more Social Media traffic than Facebook. Is that good enough to believe? I have multiple lenses on Stumbleupon, and even the new ones get 1-2 visits on the first day just from Stumbleupon.

Twitter

If you are an Amazon Associate, it is good to know that 56% of the online world prefers to buy a product on Twitter than on Facebook. Twitter may be the best of the three in making money online since it has many possibilities such as MyLikes and Sponsored Tweets. What you can do with 140 characters is incredible.

Facebook

I'm only on Facebook to recommend Amazon Products. The advantage of Facebook for a salesperson is that there is no character limit, so you can go into great detail about an Amazon Product. Facebook has about 1 billion users which makes Facebook a good place to put your business.

Making Money Online

Making money online is a slow process, but if you have the patience, you could earn thousands of dollars a month online.

Email Newsletter

An email newsletter is what keeps your visitors loyal and makes sure they don't forget about you. A lot of people use the email newsletters to get a lot of visitors, even Squidoo HQ. The bigger your opt in page, the more visitors you'll get. Then, you have to provide quality content to keep your readers subscribe to your newsletter.

YouTube

On YouTube, thousands of people are uploading video content every minute making YouTube the go-to place to promote your videos of your blog, eBook, your profession, expertise, or a product. You can make money on YouTube with the YouTube Partnership Program or you can promote a Amazon Product using your Associate ID link.

For me affiliate marketing has yielded drip drop earnings. Nevertheless, I love it and it's only been two years. I plan to stay the course!

Affiliate marketing. Find a vendor and selection of products you are happy promoting, then blog, write articles, Squidoo and social media them to your hearts content. Watch out for Google updates if you rely on organic SEO.

@Krista-Barrack: There are 3 things about surveys. First is that they can't be utilized by anyone in the world, if you're in a small country, chances are that you'll never see a single paid survey, ever. Second, the surveys aren't guaranteed that you'll be accepted even after completing them, and third, some of them are changing so that they aren't paying as much, or any money at all. If you're lucky, you can find a survey site for your country that will pay you for completing them, but chances are that you won't make enough to pay the bills by themselves.

It's a good lens to give others the idea of the places to go, too bad there are no methods or details on how to utilize each one.
