There is no question that nearly every business needs to accept credit cards. They have 24/7 customer service which has been very helpful to us, and the customer support agents are very professional and courteous. The fees are reasonable, and my sales representative has been a very helpful person throughout the whole experience.
The fees for Chase Paymentech are comparable to many of the other companies out there. However; if you are good at negotiating, you should be able to get them down a bit further. The sales representative was very helpful during this process and I actually felt like I had a friend helping me rather than some high pressure sales person.
After doing a little negotiation I was very happy with the fees, which First Data wouldn't even match, and I began my journey into processing through Chase Paymentech. As I stated previously, I've had bad experiences before and I was not excited about doing business with yet another huge company that probably would never know my name, but small companies can't beat their rates, and accepting credit cards is not a question in my business. So, I had no choice but to try them out.
Integrating the web site:
Integrating the website was probably the hardest process, but the people were nice, and they have a huge amount of information on their website to help with this process. They set me up on their sandbox (test) server and my developer and I began working with their team to get the site functional.
After a few weeks, we had the go ahead to get on to their production server and we were up, processing, and making money! So far, everything has worked very smoothly and we have had absolutely no down time at all. It's been a very good experience and well worth the wait. I also like their software, the Orbital Gateway, and it even has a website that you can log into to see the transactions and to look at reports.

The customer support is second to none! They are available 24/7 over the phone or by email, and all of their representatives work in the United States! I have nothing against foreign technical support agents personally, but an American will understand some of the phrases and idioms that have made previous technical support conversations awkward, and I can understand them clearly as well.
Email support is great, and I have never once had an email that went unanswered for more than 12 hours! Many processors took days to reply to my emails and that is bad when I depend on email so much. They are very kind and courteous, and really do a good job of trying to answer every question as clearly as possible.
For a while I was calling them up so often that they even knew me by name! That is a huge rarity especially for a company that is as big as they are. I don't know if that means they are that good, or if I was that pesky, but it was good to me!
My only complaint is that their phone system has so many options! In the end I always end up getting to someone, but it is best to have a pen and paper ready so you can write down your selections for future reference. The phone menu will go on forever.

I was very nervous about working with a credit card processor as big as them, but in the end, my worries were unfounded. My sales representative was nice and always answered their phone, the fees are more than reasonable, their customer support is indescribably good, their technology is dependable and exceeds our expectations, and my business gets to accept credit cards while keeping more of the profit in our pockets. If I had to recommend any credit card processor, it would have to be Chase Paymentech.
