This is a review of the business training, business development, venture capital, and other business programs and services offered by Powerteam International.
Powerteam International is an International business training and development firm. They offer networking events, several business seminars, trainings workshops and retreats, business excursions, business coaching, marketing consulting, product development, joint venture structuring, deal brokering, and they also provide venture capital funding to entrepreneurs.

Anyway, I signed up for their $1,997 Rainmaker course because I trust Harv and I really connected with the message of Bill Walsh, the founder of Powerteam. I was not disappointed at all with the Powerteam courses! I got to meet several incredibly successful entrepreneurs who own multi-million dollar companies, many of them do $100 Million a year or more in business. People like Kevin Harrington from the Shark Tank, Scott Rewick who started and sold 4 companies for $25 Million or more, Larry Raskins who has over a million customers in his direct sales organization, and so many more. Not only did I get to hear them speak, but I got to talk and connect with them one-on-one, swap contact information, and work with them on projects and business deals.
I've attended hundreds of business seminars, workshops, trainings, and networking events but I've never gotten such high quality training and met so many mega-millionaires and successful entrepreneurs in one place as I did with Powerteam. It's helped me take my businesses and attract so many more customers, investors and partners through joint ventures, new ideas, and business partnerships.

Notes from the Powerteam Rainmaker Summit
Here are some notes of mine from the Powerteam Rainmaker Summit. They do no justice to the quality of the course and the connections I made there, but I hope they will help you.
Get laser focused. Get focused on what you want and where you're going. Get focused on your message. Get focused! Focus is key to success. Unsuccessful people have no focus so they get easily distracted on work and projects that aren't important. They say "I'm busy busy busy" and they ARE busy - going in circles!
The bigger the challenges you have, the bigger the opportunity. Right now with the economy doing so poorly, there are MORE opportunities for businesses and income generation because there are SO MANY ECONOMIC PROBLEMS! Solve other people's problems and they will gladly pay you to take away their pain.
The people that work the hardest are the luckiest! It takes hard work and focus to succeed massively in business. Don't discount the value of hard work, but make sure you're working smart too. You only have to work half the time - you get to choose which 12 hours that is! Work on the right projects the right way and never give up.
Figure out where the world's going and get there first! Have you heard of this little thing called the internet? If you're not making money on the internet you're BEHIND all the teenagers who are. Get on board because the internet is not going away.
Your values and your actions must be in alignment. Successful people work on businesses that they believe in, that they're passionate about, that help other people. Focus on helping other people.
The idea of a successful entrepreneur is to do what you have to do until you've built your business large enough so that you can do what you want to do. Buy back your time by being a successful entrepreneur and live the lifestyle that you really desire.
The quality of your life is in direct proportion to your ability to effectively communicate. How do you communicate with others? More importantly, how do you communicate with yourself? Do you beat yourself up? Hold yourself back? Doubt yourself? Change how you communicate with yourself and how you communicate with others.
What gets measured gets done. Keep your goals with you at all times. Do you have written goals? Write them down! Be specific. A goal without a deadline is just a delusion. Write your goals in the affirmative. For example, "I have a million dollars in net worth by January 1st, 2012." Really feel what it feels like to achieve your goals. Visualize yourself achieving your goals. Learn to see things as though they were already reality.
"When you set yourself on fire, the world will show up just to watch you burn." Get on fire! Get passionate! Get excited about where you're going and what you're doing. People love to be around positive, excited people. Have more fun and more money will show up.
The world always gives you more of what you don't want! Stop focusing on what you don't want and start focusing on where you're going. Don't focus on getting out of debt, focus on creating the lifestyle you want.
90% of success is just showing up. 97% of people who hire a coach show up. Would you be more successful if you had a business coach that held you accountable to achieving your goals? Yes or yes?
Your language has to express your vision. Enroll others in your vision. If your vision is big enough, it will PULL YOU toward it. If your vision and faith is big enough, the fear melts away.
Be a value creator! Help more people and you'll make more money. Most people stay broke because they don't help enough people and don't provide enough value.
People buy RESULTS! Sell results. Don't sell health supplements, sell a healthy lifestyle and more energy. Don't sell investment advice, sell financial security, etc.
Don't be busy, be productive! Start out believing you've already won the game.
"Your imagination is more powerful than reality itself" - Einstein.
"How do I help my customers get more value every day?"
Use empowering language. "I am going to be EVEN MORE SUCCESSFUL this year." This assumes you are ALREADY successful and you're only going to be increasing your success that you already have.
That inner voice kills more successes than anything else in the world. Learn to act in spite of your fear and use empowering self-talk.
ALWAYS GO VIP! Learn to experience what it feels like to be a VIP, to be successful.
Hershey, the founder of the Hershey's chocolate company, had a vision that was bigger than the adversity he faced. Everyone laughed at him when he said he was going to build an entire town and employ thousands of people. Now Hershey's is one of the biggest chocolate companies in the world. Hershey had the last laugh.
People want to hear how you help them. Tell people how you serve them! Stop selling and start sharing how you help others.
Success is a zig zag line! You're going to have failures and detours and fall down. Just get back up and never, never, never, never, never give up!
You're only as good as the relationships you invest in. Build great relationships and you will have great success!
Small, bite-sized incremental movements toward success are okay. You can't get rich overnight. Take your time and have patience.
Become accountable for your own success. Hold yourself accountable! Don't let yourself settle for less than you can do.
Everything up to this point in your life has been IP - In preparation for your future achievements.
What you do in your daily habits determines who you will become. Successful people develop successful habits. What habits do you have that you know you should change? Start today!
Every day ask yourself, "Self, what will I do differently tomorrow to be even more successful?"
All the negative people have to go.
Talk slow, think fast. Take your time when talking but think fast! Take advantage of opportunities.
Your energy is exactly what you'll attract. If you're sad and depressed, that's what you'll attract into your life.
You want people to feel your positive presence so strongly that they can feel it when you're not even there! Make people feel good!
Absolute faith in yourself and what you're doing eliminates fear as turning on a light eliminates darkness.
If your WHY is strong enough, you'll figure out the how.
If there's no date, it's not real. Put dates on everything you're working on.
Most people are just busy counting the days instead of making their days count. Make your days count!
Have a non-negotiable posture to win, to succeed. Be unstoppable!
When you are ready for even more in your life, more will show up.
Anoint yourself #1 in the country! Be the expert in your field. Own your space! Become the absolute best in the world at what you do. People want to buy from experts. Be the expert!
God gifted you with the ability of leadership - don't waste it!
Speak to excellence.
Support a charitable cause. Tell people about it! Everyone wants to support good causes. Give part of your profits to charity - more people will want to do business with you if you give back.
He who asks the questions has the power. Learn how to listen and ask good questions. If you're truly listening, you'll know what the right next question is to ask.
Who is your perfect customer? What's their age, gender, education background, income level? What's their budget? How often would they buy your product/service? Who else do your customers buy from? How do they purchase? Online, retail, face to face?
Know your customers!!
Ask engaging questions.
Successful people expect results!
Learn how to present your business card like a gift. Use both hands. Make it special. Make your business cards look professional. Don't put an email with "@yahoo.com" on your business card - people will think YOU are a Yahoo. Get a domain name and make your e-mail be "firstname.lastname@example.org." Get high quality business cards - on good cardstock with glossy finish. It should feel good in your hands.
In Asia, people present their business cards like a gift. Learn how to do that too. Make it special. Don't just hand it to someone.
If you're going to have bullet points on your business card, use no more than 3! Don't clutter it up. Be focused. Your business card will become your stand-alone brand if it's the only marketing piece or communication that someone has with you so make it excellent!
Make sure your address and phone # area code match. Don't look like a novice - look like a professional!
Tell people about your experience. People want to work with those who are experienced.
Invest in doing it right!
Offer a free report on your business card. Give people a Call to Action so they get more information from you and can learn more about your products and services. People love free gifts - give them what they want!
