Sites Like Squidoo

Updated on August 18, 2013

Sites Like Squidoo - Which one do you like best?

Squidoo allows you to create a webpage with no html knowledge. There are other sites like Squidoo out there that let you create a webpage such as hubpages, but they may not be exactly like Squidoo.

Check out the list below and vote for your favorites or add one to the list.

Bubbajuju

bubbajuju looks similar to Squidoo but it uses Wordpress and might have a little learning curve if you are used to Squidoo.

You can use your own affiliate links on the site and it has "70/30 impression rotation on adsense." See their Join Us page for the latest info you need to know for joining the site.

Bubblews

Bubblews is a site like Squidoo in that you can publish things you've written on their site, and then they share some of the ad revenue with you. A couple things about the site are that you cannot post affiliate links on the site, and each post must be more than 400 characters. You "connect" with other people on the site but don't ask someone to "connect" with you or like your post as that will be considered cheating the system.

What I like about the site is it's easier to make a post there than it is to make a good Squidoo lens. You can just quickly write about something you're interested in, or rant about something. Then you can promote it via social media, or just leave it there and hope you'll get hits. You'll normally get some hits just by other people on the site reading what you wrote.

You don't get paid every month like you do with Squidoo, but you can cash out whenever you have at least $25 coming to you. I'm new to the site and haven't cashed out once yet, but I'm excited about it. And it's good not to put all your eggs in one basket so the more sites you write on the merrier. Of course, having your own website might be best, but Bubblews is a place you can write about whatever is on your mind without needing your own site.

Zujava is a new site like Squidoo. You can earn money from ads, Amazon purchases, and can also use your own affiliate links there. Instead of lenses, you create leaves on Zujava. And instead of a Squid, the mascot is a bird with a pencil for a beak.

They aren't too keen on some topics--similar to the topics Squidoo doesn't like and they aren't too keen on coloring pages.

I haven't made any leaves yet but it looks promising!

Wizzley

Wizzley is quite a bit like Squidoo and Hubpages and I'm excited to start creating pages with it. Check out the video below to see how to make a page with Wizzley.

How to Use Weebly

With Weebly you can create a website with multiple pages. This video will give you an idea of how easy it is to create a webpage on Weebly.

How to Create a HubPage

This video shows you how to create a HubPage.

What do you think about these sites that are like Squidoo?

Hubpages is a site that is nice and I have to say they just bought out Squidoo. So I found this older lens on Hubpages so I have to say it is a good site to work on!

I have not had a payday with bubblews.com yet, but I do have lots of fun with the site.

But, no, nothing as nice as squidoo :)

I have been on bubblews for a while made some $100st wr in a month .That was my firiting venture. Heard about squidoo and joined here .. a backup .. you never know when you are forced to leave your nest .

I am hanging around and learning .. how it works , tips , best practices ,earning potential and the methods.

I recently joined Bubblews (MelanieMurphyMyer). I was very disappointed when I found out Bubblews links are blacklisted on Squidoo - and I am confused as to how you are able to link there on this lens. Good for you! :)

I think this is a great list. Squidoo is such a valuable site from an SEO and content writing standpoint. It is great to see some alternatives to mix it up a bit and prevent valuable and useful content as coming off as spam or pure sales. Great work. I will be sharing this list. Thanks.

I know some of them and they have some similarities with squidoo but they are not like squidoo. In my opinion zujava is most similar (but too young and with too small base of authors) and sites like weebly or blinkweb are lacking sense of community from squidoo or weezley or hubpages.

Thanks for putting this together, of course there are many other interesting services similar to squidoo (but again not too similar), like infobarrel, seekyt, snipsly...

Great lens on other pages like squidoo. I searched around and came to find your lens a few times. I like the idea of having multiple platforms to create pages on, and linking to other pages creating those natural backlinks that google loves so much. You can basically create the same page on 5 sites with different wording on your pages, and link them all to one sales page or lensmaster pages

Short and sweet but a really good resource for free to use revenue sharing sites that are similar to Squidoo. Whoohoo! Earn more money from home. *Squid Angel Blessed* and I've added your link to My Squid Angel Wings to be featured in the "Business & Work » Internet » Make Money Online" neighborhood. I really think this lens would be found easier in this category since it pertains to other sites that can be used to make money online and doesn't really pertain to "Squidoo Community » More Squidoo Tips". Good job. I hope to see more added in the future.

I write on Squidoo mainly. I just started on HubPages and find it a bit "uncomfortable", but already made a few cents from there with only 4 hubs. I also use Weebly and love the versatility. Xomba was fine until they stopped allowing any links so I quit there. Guess now I will have to check out BlinkWeb. I found this lens on SheToldMe by the way... I love SheToldMe and I have already made $1.33 from there.
