Simple Random Sampling definition

Sampling is a method of selecting the variable ir elements for an investigation about the entire population. To make a decision about the entire populations condition easier statistical way is selecting few variables from this population. Each elements of the population is called sample. The common class of sampling is simple random sampling. It can be defined as a sampling method when every elements or variables of the population have an equal chance of selecting as sample. Consider the 10 number 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 is the every elements of the population. If any one number selects from here with no consideration if others factors, each variables in this population have an equal chance of being selected. This is a simple randim sampling. Every child in a school if conduct an interview to know a purposeful provable factors that can helpful in child education development project in this school is a simple random sampling.

Although simple random sampling is an expensive and time consuming matter, but yet it provide information to make an accurate decision. It also can reduce the error in sampling. But really to say that in maximum time simple random sampling is quite impossible to do. It is perfect for the small range of population. In large range of population it is expensive and even impossible to do accurately.

If you try to collect some information with randomly, without any selectivity, that is simple random sampling.
