Hilary Hinton "Zig" Ziglar (November 6, 1926 - November 28, 2012) was an American author, salesman, and motivational speaker. Ziglar, who had been suffering from pneumonia, died at a hospital in the Dallas suburb of Plano, Texas on November 28, 2012. He was 86 years old.

The self-described "Undisputed King of Motivation" was known for his seminars, which grew into large gatherings held in packed arenas. Known to many as one of the best motivational speakers of our time, Ziglar helped lots of people by inspiring them with his words. He was one of the top selling authors for self help books and many people see him as an icon or legend.

      Read his books and listened to many of his talks. Still find myself repeating his sayings and following his advice. He will be missed!
