Celebrating 50 Hubs
Hello, readers. I am celebrating my 50th Hub today. I first want to thank all my followers and how supportive they have been:
Larry, for your book reviews, which are very helpful and introduce me to new books; To Flourish, for your consistent commenting and encouraging; to John, for your poetry and your kindness; for Kiss andTales, for being my first follower and helping me here on Hubpages; to Tamara, who appreciates dark poetry and who encouraged me to write it; to Maryam, for your awesome stories and feedback; and to all those I am forgetting at this moment. Thanks for following and helping me.
And, now, on to the Hub!
And Now, the Hub!
In 3 months, I have written 50 Hubs. Mostly poetry. 'Cause poetry is my strong point. And writing information is not. That's just me. Deal with it! Anyway, I also write about my rats and Five Nights at Freddy's and Harry Potter. Obviously, I am a HP geek. You can't change that. I will NOT convert to Lord of the Rings. Thanks.
How I Found Hubpages
I found Hubpages many months ago through PetHelpful. I really wanted to write for the Rat section, until I realize it was actually a cliche site, and I could write for the entire domain. So, after researching, I signed up. Actually, I commented on many Rat Hubs as "TheFancyRatVet" just for starters. But, GalaxyRat was my end name, and suited me well.
Um...What Was My First Reaction to Hubpages?
I'd say, "I GET TO WRITE ABOUT MY HOBBIES! WIN WIN!" If not, "AND I GET WRITE ABOUT ALL I WANT"... maybe not that. But still!
A Majorty of My Hubs Are About What?
To the newbies reading this Hub, a majority of my Hubs are about rats and poetry.
Thank you all!
Thank you all for all your support. I have learned a lot here on Hubpages (like, I just realized I could link names to stuff, like I did when I was thanking followers). I learned a lot about pet rats, poetry, and my little impulses of interest I get (animal abuse, feral children, horror movies). I love the nice community and how helpful every one is. If you are a newbie, I hope you do well here on Hubpages. To our Hubpage veterans, thanks for your Hubs and all that.
