Choosing a Title

Updated on November 9, 2010

Title This

When first starting to write a new Hub on Hubpages you must first come up with a Title for your Hub.  This is a problem for me.

When writing I typically just do that, write.  I start by letting the words flow from me first, then read what I have written to make sure it makes at least a little bit of since, after Ive done that I then come up with a title that creatively encaptures my poem/story/subject.

Putting the title first before the creation of the Hub puts a cramp in my creative abilities.  I cant just hop on Hubpages and start typing my little heart out, I must first create my work on paper, read it, title it, get on Hubpages and title it, then enter the body and all the fixins.  Wow!! I'm tired just typing about it.

Unless given a subject to write on I cannot come up with a title first.  I dont know why, but I just dont work that way.  Must be the fact that I tend to do things backwards and out of the norm.  If given the subject to write on then, Great! But be aware it wont be as creative.

Nice hub, the reason the title gaves us all a little heady going is because the TITLE says it ALL..... its what captivates your aundience and make them curious to see what's in that hub.

Pull something from what you have written and make sure the title is ears and eye catching that someone will say hey i wanna read that.

Sometimes my TITLES comes from God alone knows where

LOL :) Cheer up it's easy

What I do is write everything out in my note pad or word processor then cut and past it on hubs. that way I get to write it all out then title it then edit it then it is ready to go to hubs and start a new hub, I have my title and my new hub ready to go. this way I do not need to finagle with the way hub changes the way I want my work to look, as I some times scatter or stair my lines. Just cut and paste as you want it on your hub. so much faster. Editing once on hub can be frustrating. :D hugs :D
