December 12, 2012 Highlight: Travel Man's Salute to Fans on HubPages

Updated on December 12, 2012

Thank you is not enough.

The triple 12 as in December 12, 2012 jolted me back to the place where I was just starting my niche as a regular hubber of this online writing community, HubPages.

I've seen how the media people posted a challenge to everyone to make an unforgettable and positive deeds during this date.

As for me, I've got a very bright (still illuminating, hehe!) to browse the content of my Fan Mail and select very inspiring messages that were left by fellow hubbers who have given their time jotting those notes.

So, here I am, spreading Hub Love to my not-so-near neighbors who hollered positively on my site and made me feel-at-home in the community.

As busy as I am, not many of them made an exceptional observation on my published hubs. I know most of us are also busy making thing end meet and we double time working at our own site in order to earn passive income on HubPages.

Still, I'm thanking those who gathered their thoughts and made an encouragement to continue my journey here.

Fans...followers...whatever you call it, they will always make us happy and inspire us to stay put and give our best shot in every undertaking we will tackle in our journey to success.

I'm also a fan and I am humbled and grateful to see those positive messages file up in my FM (Fan Mail) box.

I can't thank you enough for adding color in my hubbing life.

December 12, 2012 is just another day, but I will make it memorable for you as this hub means my special yearender to all of you.

My three awesome years

Doubts and scorn and mean look left me exasperated as my youngest sister (a policewoman) insisted that what I'm doing on HubPages is a SCAM!

My ears reddened and controlled my temper and explained to her that it will not be so, as she perceived it, because many affiliates are helping to stabilize this online writing community.

So, to cut the story (err argument) short, I proudly (huh!) announced my first payout from Google AdSense and those gift cards from Amazon to prove her wrong.

She corrected her impression and even too an interest in writing at this site but her busy schedule doesn't allow her to insert this kind of endeavor online.

Much more, the veracity of the site helps us sharing it on Facebook and hollering our published hubs on Twitter and pasting our favorites at Pinterest.

Wow! If this is not legit, what will be an authentic writing site look like?

Now comes the HubPages Ad Policy program that doubles your income if compared to the monetization being processed by Google AdSense.

So, I can conclude that I am glued to this site for the next long years. I also tried writing to other sites but I always come back here and fulfill my responsibility to make my site stable and earning well.

I consider HubPages one of my happy places and I will never exchange it other things that will contribute to my sadness.

And that includes my fellow hubbers who willingly obliged to be called my FANS.

Those words of encouragement fueled my interest to give more, to share things that are happening in my world, the TRAVEL MAN's WORLD.

Inspiring Messages from all over the world

Returning the favor

If you can call following as extending a favor, then it is a silent protocol on being a member of this writing community.

It is our obligation to welcome newcomers, comment on hubs and follow other hubbers. It is not as complicated as you may perceive it is.

You'll just be tinkering your keyboard and guide the mouse of your computer and press the word follow in every hubber's widget , "Others you might like.."

Sometimes, you feel like being pestered by other hubbers due to their edgy or raspy comments, you can always return the favor in many a sublime ways.

One time, I had to answer those bitchy remarks and explained that I am not taking sides and politicking as one hubber (forgettable) suggested that I am. He/She is really a nuisance, although I rebutted his/her refutes and accusations that I am being paid by doing political hubs.

I would like to apologize if I've been a source of melancholy or loneliness to other hubbers that I left thought-provoking comments.

I am trying to get rid of spammers, linking undesirable messages to some of my hubs. I cannot erase it and it continue to outnumber those worthy comments (sighs!).

Anyways, my fan base will never let me down and I am also being involved in welcoming newcomers to make HubPages their writing world in the days to come.

Back in my homeland

Newcomers thank you for including me on your list.

There are newbies who personally plea for my help or as you call it doing an upfront favor.

How can I refuse if I have all the time in the world to do so?

To keep the balance and harmony on HubPages, the word 'love' transcends all meaning you can imagine as all of us are doing it in a positive way.

Those requests are not to be ignored. Instead, we must act immediately since those persons or hubbers publicly did it and personally sent it to one's Fan Mail box in order to be noticed.

There are many hubbers that will help. HP staff are hubbers, too starting from its founder and CEO (Mr. Paul Edmondson) and of course HP Elites and Apprentices.

They're at the level that they can spread their wings and include us in their domain in order to be assisted once they felt our status are failing.

I felt that I'm still a newcomer each year.

Others may come and go but my fan base continue to increase and this hub is and will be my station to THANK YOU all for doing a very good favor.

Happy following, everyone!!!

Personal plea

@earthbound1974: How could I resist my fellow hubbers who are giving me the opportunity to shine? It's you and them who are fueling me to strive for excellence, if not, my own best here @ HubPages.

And my endless thanks to all of you. :)
