Don't Delete Your HubPages Account: I'll Buy It!

Updated on June 25, 2011

You’re thinking about deleting your HubPages account, right?

At least not yet, anyway...

Every so often, a user will join the HubPages community and decide that it’s not for them. Often, the time commitment required for consistent hubbing – and thus consistent earnings – is beyond the scope of what some people have available.

That’s cool. We’ve all got real world lives that need tending to.

But before you just go straight ahead and delete your account, get in touch with me – your account might be worth something: to both of us!

Your Account Might Be Worth Something...

If you’re thinking of deleting your HubPages account, contact me.

If you have already a handful of articles published, then depending on their quantity, quality, topic and a few other factors, I might be interested in buying the account off you.

Because it’s content I won’t have to write myself. Additionally, as hubs “age” they become more valuable, organically climbing through the search engine results. This makes it in my interest to acquire work that is of good quality, and which has “aged.”

And it makes it in your interest to consider selling it – having the opportunity to earn a little cash off the work you’ve already done.

I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream. Everyone wins.

How Much Will You Pay Me?

How long is a piece of string? It really depends – both on the quantity and quality of your work. The more of each you have, the more i’ll be willing to pay.

So give it a shot – if it doesn’t work out you can always delete your account anyway, and be none the poorer for your efforts.

Get in touch with me!

I am planning to delete my account in which I have published 11 hubs and have been a member for almost 2 years.

Huhn! That's a really interesting idea. I could see it being profitable for everyone involved. I don't plan on pawning off my articles or account, but it's still nice to know they're a commodity.

Although I did read somewhere that only nomadic Australians are currently buying up hubpages accounts, so small market there.
