Hitting 100,000 views inside 8 months on Hubpages: Stats, earnings and more
Well, what a surprise to have come this far and see my hubs reach 100,000 views under 8 months. I would say when you get used to Hubpages, you kind of become addicted. You feel missing some kind of company if a day or two passes on without having any activity on the site. Hubpages can be addictive but the interest of staying on also matters.
I never thought I would write articles that would be read 100,000 times, it therefore came as a surprise when I logged into my account only to be welcomed with a 100K Badge. This is not my individual achievement and there is no way I could have come this far without being on a wonderful platform like Hubpages and having support of fellow hubbers. So thank you! Thank you all!
One thing I really like about Hubpages is the way it has improved my skills in writing. I have a long way to go but certainly I am better than when I started.
There are days I felt depleted and occasionally I have hit the writers’ block, yet in other days, I was full of motivation and inspiration. I have since found that writing about topics of interests and in areas where you are knowledgeable is the best way to avoid writers’ block.
Hubpages has been amazing, it is a platform with a diverse community and you will always find something interesting every moment of the day. From hubs to forums, questions to comments, learning center to crafting new hubs, you can’t miss something to keep you going. When all these are backed up by a robust platform with a supportive community, it makes a worthy web experience.
Lately, I have found forums to be very interesting and sometimes things can really heat up there. One thing I have learnt in the forums is to always keep what you don’t know to yourself or post it as a question rather than rant in the forums. It can boil up there if you don’t have facts and/or figures to support your argument. All in all, forums are worthy places to experience healthy dialogues.
Overall, I would rate my performance on Hubpages as good mostly because I never get enough time to do all the things I seek to accomplish here owing to other commitments.
My writing has improved, I have met wonderful friends and I am already enjoying regular payout. I can’t ask for more, thank you Hubpages.
Being on Hubpages, I have seen good and bad days; anticipation, happiness, worries, low traffic, high traffic, low earnings, better earnings, useful comments, hilarious comments, met new friends, improved online content writing, heated forums and many more. Here are my stats on reaching the 100,000 views mark.

Ways to increase Hubs traffic
But the best and natural way that I have found working in attracting readers is through writing content that are of interest to readers and which web users are looking for. Google keyword tool has been remarkable in finding web users’ trends. Although I am still struggling with use of keywords and how better to position keywords in my articles, I find writing naturally with as fewer keywords as possible as a better form of writing. Certainly, with Google Panda and Penguin on our heels, it is good to be safe.
If you have just joined Hubpages or you are just starting, my recommendation is that you stay around. Start by writing what you like, and more better, what you know. It takes time before one discovers what is working and what is not. Soon, you shall develop your own niche which is a better form of writing online contents. Hubpages community is one of the most supportive social groups you will ever find on the web. If you have not yet joined Hubpages, join today and start writing articles about what you like and earn along the way. I wish you all the best.
