Creating unique Video hubs

Is it really worth it to create a video hub? Why or Why not?

Yes indeed so, making hubpages unique videos make a huge difference in benefiting the author of such a hub, and this hub was made to help folks learn about my own personal video hub making experience here, and to provide a few helpful tips to inspire others in trying it out as well.

I personally love the new hubpages video hub option, and I been publishing hubpages videos hubs ever since they recently added the option to do so, and I've had a great deal of success here with them. So I know for sure its definitely worth while to create them, and it all depends on your fan base you've developed on hubpages or followers, how often you communicate to folks via their hubs or elsewhere, how active you are in the hubages community, so on and so fourth.

The sharing factor comes in here as well, like if your into paying it forward for folks for instance it will carry all of your hubs over a great deal, because by helping others selflessly they will in due time help you out by giving your hubs a try as well. I'm not sure of your overall hubpages activity here in the community, but it definitely takes a great deal of efforts by you to get it all moving for sure, and if you've given that video hub the best titling you could muster, then give it some time it will get better for sure.

The last thing is If a single hub doesn't do well, that doesn't mean all of them will also do the same. I have a great deal of high performing hubs, and also low ones, and at times some I thought wouldn't do good since they had a rough start, simply picked up momentum over time.

Oh one other thing you can do is to join on Facebook, in the FB groups many hubbers have created, that helped me a great deal in sharing, and it allowed others to see my activities in real time, so to help leverage more of my hubs elsewhere, but mostly so I could help them all out by sharing their hubs as well.

To me I think you should just go for it, put out like 5 video hubs, at intervals, to see a better perspective view on how they are to trend. Good Luck!

This is a truly attainable goal!

Does Hubpages video hubs improve a hubs traffic?

To be honest with you, I really have no clue how it all works to tell you the truth when it comes to hub traffic increasing or decreasing based on using a video hub.

I just know after I've publish my video hubs, I instantly see some pretty awesome results, and I always wondered how do I get such a quick response from the hubpages community on any hub for that matter, but its been that way since I joined I guess, and I'm not complaining.

The other factors I've shared earlier in this hub also come into account after publishing (hubpages community sharing factors), because many active hubbers in the community are checking for recently activity on the hubpages feed page, and or randomly hub hopping.

The other thing about these new video hubs though, I definitely see the trend of them moving much faster in the overall stats of my hubs. I think they actually get more weight on the search engines in terms of higher quality, and better ranking just because they are in the much newer video format.

Try using the Learning Center

According to the hubpages Learning Center video hubs actually get special treatment from the search engines and this equates to better SEO (search engine optimization). Meaning that after publishing a video hub it will instantly have a better chance at getting higher ratings and page ranking on the search engines.

Looking at my own video hubs performance thus far, I can say that its a proven fact, that video hubs can actually make all the difference. This is so especially if you've went the extra distance by making sure all the other requirements of making a high quality hub are in place, besides the fact that you've attempted to publish a unique video hub.

So keywords still apply, content placement and positioning onto the screen, high quality images, and other relevant capsules needed to help earn the hub a higher web reputation.

This is one aspect of HubPages which is less explored. It would be great to see more of the videos doing the rounds. Great presentation :)

Great hub. I have tried to upload vids several times and it never works. It always tells me there has been some kind of error when I try.

Thank you@intriguewriter for the cool visit, I have also had that error many times, it may be your computer as well, because I had to switch pc's in order to successfully load it up, one of my laptops just wouldn't convert the video, and I used windows movie maker to create the video movie.

Good luck, just try it with a differing PC, preferably a more newer one if yours was outdated.

Hi thanks for your advice. My PC is pretty new with windows 7 ultimate on it too and I also use windows movie maker. I have tried a few times but it just doesnt work. I am going to try again though because I have a lot of vids on youtube and would like to start uploading some cool vids on here too. Love your hubs and your article is pretty helpful I will be coming back. I plan on trying some more to put the vids up on here so I hope you will check them out when I do eventually put them up. What toshiba camcorder you have? I did get one but I ended up sending it back because it didn't work very well. I am currently using a logitech cam for my videos and it is pretty cool. Anyway, sorry for the long comment I talk a lot. catch you later. Edina Jackson

I use a Toshiba Camileo x400, its really cool and me and my wife got it on sale so, that was also a good thing.

Yeah try it again and again, I think some times it can web the web browser as well, if you use Mozilla Firefox then you should be good, I never use Explorer it sucks, and so I use either Google Chrome or Firefox for all things web related. I hope it works out for you, Good luck once again, and thanks for the return response.

I'll check out your hubs soon as well.
