How much hubs give money?

Updated on June 11, 2011

Making Money On Hubpages Need Quality Hubs

The number of hubs that makes money here on Hubpages depends on what type of hub you are writing. I will answer this question based on my earlier hubing activities and experience. I started writing hubs without learning much of Search Engine Optimization and had about 50 hubs for a period of 12 months, with these 50 hubs more so on Computer related information I had earned about $40 as can be confirmed here. 50 hubs $40 Google Adsense Earning.

During this time, some of these hubs were receiving great traffic but the earning were very low, imagine a hub receiving about 100 pages views a day and earning nothing from Google Adsense and Amazon, surely I was disappointed, The on $40 Google Adsense Earning hub had generated a lot of comments and as I was going through the comments which were very useful, I came across a suggestion of doing keyword research and writing product reviews hubs. I decided to go this direction and since then I have been writing a lot of product review hubs after doing keyword research relating to the product am writing. Now it's not the number of hubs you write to make money but the type of hubs you are writing to make money, let's take Misha, with only few hubs as of now 21 hubs and have been making money, now don't forget Misha is not a newbie and knows what works and what doesn't. The quality of hubs you have determined how much money you make. For a newbie you will need as many quality hubs as possible for you to start making money on Hubpages and 100 well written quality hubs will make money.

How long does it take to Make Money on Hubpages

For a newbie who are just getting started, it will take probably one year to start getting some significant result, I have read a lot of hubs and comments when people reached their first payment after a period not less than 8 months and all these are newbie’s with no internet marketing experience, they come and learn everything from the beginning here at Hubpages, but for the well experienced marketers can make money with only one hub here on Hubpages. It takes time, patient and determination, one thing you need to have is delayed gratification knowing very well that what you put will be reflected in many years to come and you just keep writing quality hubs. To make money faster on Hubpages write product review hubs, you will have higher chances of earning within a short period of time , product review hubs also has some drawbacks to take into consideration, if that product is out of market your hub becomes obsolete, so balance the type of hubs you are writing at Hubpages. Now here is a guide by Mark which will help you greatly on how to make money in your first six months as a newbie at Hubpages. Read this hub which is self explanatory and just do it here: The Best Easy Way to Make Money Online is to Open a Hubpages Account
