Updated on June 20, 2010

Publish 10 Unique Posts At The Start

Why? In this way, you will be able to have something to reach out to other readers at the very least, and from there you could slowly start to build up more readers. Remember, the content have to be UNIQUE. A content stolen from other sites is most likely to be violating against google AdSense TOS and less chances of getting indexed by google.

Submit your site to article directories
Submitting your site to famous article directories such as Ezine Article will increase the chances of getting a higher amount of readers to your article because such article directories rank very well in Google, thus this is a pretty important step not to be missed.

Engaging in Social Networking Sites
There are many of them to choose from, Twitter, face book, Digg and many more. Always frequently update your site with new content so that readers will be attracted to your site, and remember to submit your sites to them! Social networking sites are very efficient in getting high traffic to your desired sites/articles.

Participating In Forums
Start participating in forums related to your niche/hub pages that you are writing, its best if you participate in those with high traffic and ranking from google, and its pretty important to use a forum signature to raise people's awareness of your site when reading your posts/threads

Commenting On Other Blogs
Leave relevant comments on other blogs related to your site's niche, however do not write comments that are one or two sentences only, you have to really show interest on their blog through your comments, this will then increase the chances of them coming to view back your site/article.

Interact With Your Readers Actively
When people leave comments on your blog, give sincere reply/answer to them, this will encourage visitors to come back and visit your articles/site more often, give them suggestions too as well, from there they can see that you are really keen on helping them.

Offer Readers Something Free/Valuable Information
Your site/articles must have what it takes to attract people to go and read them. Visitors are often attracted to free stuffs or information that is relevant to what they are looking for. Thus, find out the needs of your targeted market and start working on it by providing them with either something free or valuable information.

Write Stuff That People Want To Read/Share
If you're going to write stuff that would be unable to attract reader's attention, what's the purpose of writing it in the first place? Thus, write stuff that is generally of interest to readers reading it, this will then keep the traffic rising, because if your article is intereting, they will keep coming back for more of it.

Interesting Post Titles
Post titles are very important to help a reader decide if he/she wants to continue reading on your article, a post title is like a one line summary to summarize the whole of your content. An interesting post title would often entice your readers to read on.

Review other articles/websites
Make it a habit to review other people website and give a positive comment about it, provide a link to your comment , in this way, it will increase your chances of getting higher back links and more visits from other people, your articles/website will also have a high rating.

These are guidelines that have proven to be successful in increasing the amount of visitors initially. Be patient. Take baby steps in achieving that big dream of your sites in getting huge amount of visitors and earning thousand of dollars from your own site or through blogging . Let's work hard in increasing traffic and earning more money online!
