HubPages Earnings (Do They Increase)

Updated on April 27, 2012

I've already done a main HubPages update page here, but I thought I should do a simple earnings update for any new people who want to see how earnings increase.

Before the start of April, I had 5 hubs, which had given me a total of $0.43.

In the first week, I wrote 19 hubs and got a total of $3.40.

As you can see. on Saturday the 7th, I earned a lot more that the other days. This was down to an increase in views, because I posted some of my hubs to Reddit.

My average daily earnings for the week was $0.49.

In the second week I wrote just 3 hubs, and got a total of $2.09.

This was obviously a decrease on last week, but considering I wrote less than 1/6 the amount of hubs, earning 2/3 of the previous week was pretty good.

My average daily earnings for the week was $0.30

Thanks for taking the time to put together these states. Knowing what to expect takes some fear out of life.

This is very encouraging. It can feel like we wont ever make more than pennies sometimes.

Just like sonykkid, I also enjoy reading hubs that give a breakdown of what a hubber is earning - a good, detailed hub - well written.

Yeah reddit really works- I have just under 2000 views from it, about a third of my total.

Posting to Reddit you say? Hmmm.

      Sounds like a plan!

I'm a newbie myself and don't think your earnings are terrible at all. Once that snowballs I can imagine some very decent earnings with a constant flow of quality hubs.

Thanks for posting your earnings, I love hubs like these. They prove patience is key with sort of thing.

Well, they only earned $3 that week, but the best few continue to get 200 views a week, 2 weeks after writing them.

Ahh this is quite interesting! However, I'm sure that you don't need to write 19 Hubs a week to get $3! So maybe instead of writing more Hubs, better Hubs might be a more effective method of increasing earnings.
